Very nice pedestrian bridge that crosses the Ohio River and has stunning city views. My family and I walked this bridge on a pretty hot day and wished there was at least one spot for a break for some shade, but the shade created by parts of the bridge provided some nice shade with a forgiving breeze. I don't believe pets were allowed on the bridge nor those pay-by-time electric scooters (they shut down on the bridge). I did see a few bicycles on the bridge, so I assume they were allowed. Surprising classical music was playing at one end of the bridge. A nice and cute surprise. If you walk on a hotter day, make to bring water as there were not many options nearby on either end for refreshments. I would like to visit this bridge again at sunset/night for even more spectacular views!
Great bridge to see a good view of Louisville! It felt peaceful crossing through as we barely saw any people walking by! Wish it had a plaque to represent the crossing from Kentucky into Indiana and vise versa but it was a great outing while getting a good walk out of it!
Stayed in Jeffersonville for one night and walked the bridge… great sunset shots and was totally blown away by the lights!! Pretty cool!
Had seen this bridge from I-65 many times over the years. My wife and I made an 80 mile drive from our Indiana home to check it out. It was well worth it. An easy walking experience and great scenery. People were friendly by saying Hello when you passed. Glad we did it!
This bridge and the surrounding areas offer beautiful vantage points and the walk and ambience are both peaceful and relaxing ?.
We always go here its like a love bridge ? God is doing great and wonderful thing's in the land Psalm 1 amen uplifting the community of the Lord with Jesus Christ amen
Plenty of parking around. Easy access to the bridge. Saw the sign of no pets. Great city view from the bridge
Beautiful footbridge! A romantic spot to end our evening. Safe, family friendly, fabulous views of the city!
One mile walk across old train Bridge Louisville KY to Jeffersonville, IN. Great views of Ohio River and both cities.
Beautiful 1800s rail bridge connecting Kentucky and Indiana. Now just for pedestrians, no pets. Kept clean and LED lit by private group. Gorgeous park on the Kentucky side close to Lincoln memorial and kids' park and splash pad, hot dog stand and bathrooms. Cute shops and cafes on the Indiana side. Easy to walk, bike, etc. while enjoying the panoramic views.
