Early evening, not crowded, service was good, food was good and timely. Beer was cold and wet. We will be going back soon.
Wish we had checked this place out sooner. They’ve got a little bit of everything on their menu. Food has always been fresh and hot. Service is great. Lots of TVs for watching the game. Week day specials. Fair prices. We’ve been back multiple times already!
Fish fillets are more like fish sticks. Average food, average price. Good beer variety given the limited taps but the staff made it feel as much like a neighborhood place as a chain store can.Worth going back just for that.Good TV setup and not all that crowded for an NCAA tourney night (this was the night after the Cats lost and weather was great, so I'm sure most of Fern Creek was grilling out n boycotting basketball.)
We went in on a Sunday 3/27 around 6 pm and we seated ourselves. The only booth available was dirty but we sat in it. We waited about 15-20 minutes without being acknowledged at all. It was terrible !! We will never go back.
Love this place and the redhead that runs it, good times! First time was tonight-food, live music, great bartender…no idea cuz it’s tucked away-check it out!
I like the Bardstown Rd location a whole lot more than the Blankenbaker/Shelbyville Rd location. The Food is better and the Mgr at the latter 1 night told me the kitchen was closed a whole 45 minutes early as well as made a scene to my party & myself. I haven't been back to Blankenbaker since. Rude, nasty, and unprofessional. Extremely biased, but this location is a night and day opposite. 5 stars if the experience had been perfect, but, they fixed what wasn't perfect. Meal total was $100.
Very nice place. Enjoyed the service and delicious food. Prices are reasonable. One of our favorite places.
Love this place! The customer service was great from everyone that worked there, our server was the bomb, she was on it. It was a relaxing and friendly atmosphere, and the food was wonderful. We were at a different store, and smelled the food and knew we had to try it. I wasn't disappointed at all. More then enough to eat, we ended up taking some home.
WOW! This place has completely fallen apart. 2nd bad trip here in 2 months so we’re done.1. We were sat at a dirty table with menus like it was good to go.2. Ordered red sangria, got some kind of peach drink.3. We waited a LONG time in between these and then;4. Our food came out cold, like cooler than room temperature (with exception of 1 plate was warm)5. We were missing sides and no silverware.6. I went to the bar to cash a keno and the bartender literally walked past me 4 times without acknowledging me or even making eye contact (I was the only one at the bar)7. I won $18.00 and when I asked to cash it, she told me the lottery drawer doesn’t have any money in it.They said the food was cold because they don’t have heat lamps. Really? A like 19 table restaurant with 3 people working the floor and only 7 tables with people at them and everyone left our food in the window long enough to get cold? We sent our food back and left.We need the old management back before we go anywhere near this place. Used to be a twice a week spot for us. Disappointed.
Got everything wrong with our order, when there was 2 people there. Burger was pink and definitely not cooked safely. Coke tasted awful and made me sick.
