Great food, but all I can say is CALL BEFORE YOU GO. I got there 30 minutes before close only to be told that they stopped taking orders 15 minutes ago. “Where does it say that?” That’s just the way it is. Sorry, come back Monday. If you’re going to stop taking orders and cleaning g your kitchen at 6:15, then you close at 6:15. Not that complicated.
Great food and people normally, but I'd suggest calling before showing up an hour after opening(12pm saturday) to determine if they are ready. Tried to order online and were unable too. Drove 25 minutes to find out that it would be another 45 minutes before they had anything ready. We want to continue to support local, even when out of the way. However, we will call now before we even try to support this business.
I just had one of the best Philly Cheesesteaks I have ever eaten. The roll is perfect, soft and flavorful. Piles and piles of sliced steak cooked perfectly and just the right amount of cheese.I grew up outside of Philly and love a cheesesteak and despise poor imitations. This is the real deal! i always look for a local place where ever I live to get a good steak. This is it. Highly recommended!
Man can not live on bread alone ?? There is nothing like a good Cheesesteak(authentic) sandwich and some B-right Fries ?? the best in town hand down! Amen ?? It’s the only place I know where you can get food to feed your stomach and soul at the same time?? I made a post years ago when the store on Preston first opened. I noticed Mr Barry had Christian daily devotionals on the tables for customers to read. I read the one sitting at my table that day and it was what I need form the Lord at that time. Well it happens again, thank you Mr Barry for keep and being bold in your faith, keep fighting the good fight and keep making great food. Amen ??
Best Cheesesteak sandwich ever!!! The B-Rite fries are seasoned well and delicious… can’t wait to visit again. And wonderful service?
Absolutely love the food here taste wise I'd gladly give this place a 6 out of 5 stars however the service is terrible can't even come here on my lunch takes an hr to get a single sandwich not long ago I remember seeing them on TV saying they were struggling I see why they turned away at least 5 people while I waited on my sandwich if customers keep getting turned away and having to wait an hr for a single sandwich that's just bad for business
Absolutely love this place. Everything I have had is always amazing. Recommend the B-Right fries with cheese. The sandwiches are stuffed full so be prepared to over indulge, you can't put it down. Staff is friendly and down to earth. It's a place off the beaten path but well worth the stop.
Ordered the.full chicken cheesesteak today in anticipation of having half for tomorrow but couldn’t even do half of a half today. Chicken was shredded, fry no flavor, never saw an onion or cheese. Only thing good was the bread. Very disappointed as that was always my go to .
My chicken was dry and theres too much meat on my sandwich.. I ordered extra lettuce and tomato and hardly was given any extra .. id rather substitute the meat for veggies .. next time i might try the vegetarian option .. its just wayyyyy to much meat.. not my preference.. the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean .. just nobody on staff had masks on .. which made me uncomfortable considering theres a sign saying masks are appreciated by customers ..
We were on our way from Cincy to Nashville and decided to have a quick stop in Louisville to check out the city. We randomly drove by Barry's and I thought we would try it out for lunch. I'm glad we did as the Philly sandwich was fantastic. Food was ready in less than 10 minutes. A true gem.
