My wife and I were looking for a great bar to eat lunch and Bambi’s is that bar! The talk on the burgers and previous reviews about the burgers being amazing were spot on. “Flavorful, juicy burger with fresh toppings“ were my wife’s comments. I had a veggie burger in a mushroom and Swiss. While it was really good, I should have tried the fish. Luckily I’ll be back and make better choices.Oh! And the fried mushrooms, onion rings, and spicy cheese balls were simply amazing!Service was also phenomenal. Great people and environment!

I went to get a good old bar burger...and I got an AWESOME GOOD OLD BAR BURGER!!!! This burger is the best burger I've had in any bar in Louisville. NOT box frozen patty. It was thick, juicy, cooked perfectly, fresh lettuce onion and tomato. Onion rings were also awesome!!! I will stop searching now. I have found what I've been looking for for years.It is a small bar, so you might have to wait for a table, but it's worth it.
Great neighborhood bar and delicious food. I had the Mini Dan burger with steak fries. Our party also had Spicy Cheese Balls with horseradish sauce as an appetizer. Burgers are hand patted and so good. The cheese balls are a must have. Looking forward to our next visit.
Simple, straightforward review. Dive bar with one of the best burgers I've ever had. Bonus: Service was great. Bartenders were super nice and friendly. Highly recommended.
This is so crazy me and a buddy went here like 17 years ago when we were in Louisville for an Easy rider bike convention. We had no idea what kind of place it was we just stumbled across it. We had a burger and a few beers. The burger was AMAZING. The bar was really cool and the atmosphere was great. The people were nice and friendly. I really wish we had a neighborhood bar like this where I live. This place I've only been once but I still remember it 17 yrs later. AWESOME BAR. I did 4 yrs in the Navy I've been to 100s of bars and this one is in the top 5 easy. Of all the bars I've been in the world! This is NUMBER 1 FOR A QUAINT LITTLE NEIGHBORHOOD BAR AND GRILL. AWESOME HIDDEN TREASURE! Om going to drive up 90 miles next week and visit and post pics
Went with 4 other guys to eat the famous BAMBI BURGER, and boy was it ever great.Dark bar inside but the food was great. It hadn't changed much in 45 years since I had been there.
As always the Bambi Bar was excellent, 5 stars. The service was as good as the food. I highly recommend this local jewel.
Terrific burgers and bar food. Good drink selection for a small place with lots of TVs and outdoor seating as well.
Small bar that makes you feel at home. Chili is the best I've ever had. Everyone was very nice. Great lunch spot.
