Very disappointed. I was looking forward to going here after reading that it was the best Chinese restaurant in Louisville. No way. The food was just ok. The service was horrible. When we first entered, there was no one to greet people coming in. We waited about 5 minutes before a waitress came and seated us. She was very rude during the entire meal. An appetizer was ordered and did not come until after our entrees had been served. I will never go back.

The atmosphere is really nice and my friends really enjoyed thier food. Personally I did not and ill explain why. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. When it came out it looked delightful and the aroma was great. Once I noticed the crispy golden brown battered chicken flooded with sauce my heart sunk. Some pieces of the chicken that didn't get caught in the pool of sweet and sour sauce were crispy. Never drown anything crispy with sauce, it makes it way to soggy and the breading just soaked all the sauce in. Put about 1/4 of the sauce in or on the side. I didn't order sweet and sour chicken soup. Also the pot stickers were a little soggy on the bottom. My friends calamari was right on point and delicious and so was the short ribs.
I came here for lunch and had the goat cheese and crabmeat wonton and singapore style vermicelli. Everything was delicious! I also loved the atmosphere, very calming, with the patio looking out onto a forest.
Wow. We have been searching for good war su gai since our favorite spot closed over 15 years ago. Best spring (looked like an egg roll to me) roll I've ever had. Will be back! Service was good we came around 3pm.

August Moon has an amazing atmosphere (work lunch, Dinner, kid friendly, etc….) & it’s well priced also. The food is delicious with tons of multiple options to choose from and it’s in a great location in town I recommend August Moon to everyone.
Watched a chopped episode and i had to try the chef out. Awesome Awesome!! Fantastic drinks and entrees. Main courses were top notch. Kat kept us happy. Highly recommended
Beautiful, elegent interior with lots of light, extensive menu, wonderful service. I loved the martini I ordered, just one of a long list of creative choices. Then I chose a seafood dish with scallops, shrimp, and mussels. All were done to perfection, and perfect for my high protein, low carb goals. (I know, I cheated with the martini, but it was worth it!) This was my first visit, but I will definitely be back.
This restaurant is well overrated and overpriced. It is not nearly as good as I would’ve expected from a restaurant that I have heard nothing but praises about. However, the service was decent.
The food and drinks were great! The manager was amazing!! Highly recommend this restaurant!!
