The tasting with the chocolate pairing was fun and we really enjoyed our cocktails from the Toasting Bar, but it was otherwise a pretty average distillery tour. The updates and new bar and tasting room additions are beautiful though.
Great Distillery. Angels Envy is the best Rye. My favorite. Great tour by Scooter. Got to see my nephew Vince Toto working on the line bottling some delicious Rye. Please visit and give it a try. Tell my nephew "hi" if you see him.
If you're looking for the Rye, go no further! Plenty of bottles here. There is a tasting only option ($15 for one 2 oz pour and a chocolate) or you can also opt in for the tour which may run you an additional $10. I recommend calling ahead and making a reservation. Various other gift options available, including engraving a bottle with a personalized sentiment. I was hoping to try the Rye aged in rum barrels, but they only offered the bourbon aged in port wine barrels.
We were there for my friend’s bachelor weekend. The staff went above and beyond to make our tasting a memorable experience. Shout out to Stacey, the Brand Home Concierge, who arranged our tasting, and our tasting guide Jimmy. They were just phenomenal.Definitely a highlight of our weekend distillery visits.
First of all I really like Angel's Envy bourbon, but I knew that before I went on the tour. The tour guide was great and the tour was very informative and well done. Why the 3 stars? Well I think when you book a tour and get reservations they should tell you that they are shut down for spring cleaning and nothing is being made. This really takes away a lot from a bourbon distillery tour. We were all very disappointed that we got 1/2 the experience for the full price of tickets. No reflection on the super friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were great, and of course the bourbon is great.
Not much of a bourbon person. Came with a family member who was highly interested. The tour lady Justine was lovely and informative. The men working at the gift counter were a bit rude and hostile
Been to lots of tours in the Louisville area this is a top five. Guide was very good and informative. Love not having to drive an hour for a tour and tasting
Angel’s Envy Distillery was under construction when we visited, but we still stopped by the gift shop and picked up some Angel’s Envy souvenirs. Various items sold in the gift shop. Wish we were able to see more but still had fun nonetheless.
We really enjoyed our tour and tasting at Angel’s Envy. Our tasting was a bourbon tasting with a chocolate pairing. We received two tastings and two chocolates and then a third pour of one of the ones we just tried, but this time with ice to see how it changes the flavor. I would highly recommend booking this tour in advance. Also, this distillery has no parking, but there are several public parking lots within walking distance.
Fantastic value. Unique experience with dynamic tour and unparalleled tasting. We were lucky enough to meet the friendly founder on our tour! Would 100% recommend!
