A great lunch date at the upstairs outdoor bar! The atmosphere was fun and the staff was very friendly. The drinks were amazing! We got the original margarita and the rose peach margarita. The nachos were our favorite dish. The epic tacos were slightly underwhelming but enjoyed the soft and crunchy layers. Would definitely recommend and return.
What a great restaurant! The tacos are delicious and the staff and very friendly. Our waiter Dae (I think his name was) was brilliant. Glad we visited while on our holiday from the UK.

Who says you can't have Tacos for breakfast?! Highly recommend Agave & Rye, our server Katie was the bomb and the food was off the hook. I hope to come back here soon
Awesome place, cool vibes, great food! Agave & Rye blew me away today for dinner. I wanted tacos and a friend suggested it. Walking in, I’m already impressed. The decor and set up is almost eccentric, but in the best way possible. I loved the colors and music, and the chairs were comfortable. I ordered a frozen margarita, chips and queso, and the Birria tacos. The margarita was strong and had great lime flavor, the chips were crispy, and the tacos had great flavor. The salsa and consommé that came with them added so much flavor to the already tasty tacos. Unfortunately I’m not local and I don’t know when I’ll be back, but definitely will be next time I’m in Louisville.
The waitress, Terrie, gave phenomenal suggestions. I had the love shack and the bomb tacos, they were mind blowing. The brussel sprouts were also amazing. I had the Rose and Peach Bellini Margarita and Bourbon Peach Punch - both great!
I have been here twice and it has never disappointed! Sat outside this time and service was great..we had a large group this time and never waited long for service our waitress was so fun and the food was amazing. Had the Lobster taco and the Ranchos taco...I was simply in heaven they were both so terrific! Highly recommend ?
We went today for the first time. The wife and my daughter and I had a amazing experience. We had an excellent experience and will surely be going back. I have to say the food was just amazing and I will be honest I was pretty nervous of some of the different tacos. We all got something different and all looked great and tasted amazing. If your looking for something a little different you must try I'm sure you will not be disappointed. There is a bar there also but it's still family friendly because the table's are not close to the bar. There is also outside seating. Our server was awesome and very friendly and very helpful on makiour decisions on what to get. Latrell was very good at his job and made sure we had a great experience.
The atmosphere of agave&rye is fun, great place for girls night out or date night. We went during happy hour and for two people with drinks,appetizer and taco’s was around $30.00!
Words can't describe my experience at Agave & Rye. It was amazing & unbelievable. Not only was the food & drinks freaking YUMMILICIOUS! The staff was beyond awesome! I can't remember them all but Keith was beyond our favorite!If you're in Louisville please do not miss out on a personable & great foodie/drink experience! Their tequila menu is beyond & amazing in this bourbon state!!
