Very bad place if you want to out and enjoy with your friends this is not good place for you.1. They fight every time I went there and they kick everyone out, so look they let you come in you buy drink or food before even you start eat or drink they said everyone should go out and they said you can’t even take your drink home this just happened last Sunday.2. You pay to come in but they don’t allow you to sit down on their chairs you have to buy very expensive drinks to sit to down and drink which sells $70 they want you pay $300 this is ridiculous.3. Music is loud4. If you are not their friend sometimes late night they will not allow you to go in this will tell you that they reached maximum number in side .This place should be closed.

First time coming and really enjoyed the music. I will be back!

Good African food

Something Louisville has needed for decades. I was born and semi-raised there but have lived around the world three times over. It's nice to come home and be able to have somewhere to go that reminds you of all your travels. I don't come home often but when I do this will always be one of my stops.

I had to change my review because the pastCouple days been nothing but amazing everything now and the pricing is accordingly. Thank you for understanding

They don’t care about their neighbors… loud music blaring at all hours.Edit to their response: it’s not the loudness towards bardstown rd. It the loudness on the back patio.

?❤❤❤❤❤❤?Afrokanza is where you can enjoy good food, all kinds of drinks and good vibes. The owner and his employees are lovely and humble.

Great place for Drinks and wonderful food.

Nice spot and a chill vibe but $30 to get in a regular hookah lounge and $25 for a hookah when you could go to friend’s hookah get in for free and have the best hookah, hire new hookah makers, stop overprice to get in and charge regular for the drinks and don’t even mention the overpriced drinks ? literally everything is overpriced for the little service they give this is not ATL be humble you can’t get rich over night. Instead of Apologizing for throwing people out and pushing them out for no reason they decided to temporarily close the place.

Clean, stylish, good music, polite staff, relaxing. prices are very moderate. Bartenders are awesome, cocktails are lit
