WOW, WOW, WOW...that is what the group was saying!
The food was delicious, however, we ordered an appetizer that didnât even come until about ten minutes after our entrees arrived! Also, the entrees did not arrive remotely at the same time. One table mate was almost finished with entree before the last one arrived! The server did not ask management to comp the appetizer or offer any free dessert or anything.
Always worth the trip. My brother-in-law from SoCal in tow. He was amazed⦠saying, âI had to come to Central KY for some of the best Quality fish, Iâve had.â And he lived and taught in Japan for five years.
We always come to Zen Sushi. It is probably the sushi in Lexington. We havenât try any other because it is so good. This time I tried the omakase which was very good My wife had the mango tango which is her favorite and okura which was good as well Highly recommended
I have searched for a good Japanese restaurant and have found one with Zen sushi & Sake!! Their Chicken Karaage is tasty as is the vegetable tempura and Tonkatsu ramen. the pork is soft and tasty, just like Japan. It is my go to when craving Japanese food. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very polite and accommodating.
