I was introduced to Windy Corner by family as we were passing through KY. Wow! I like to pride myself on knowing where good quality food can be found. This is now near the top of my list.Expect fast friendly service with high quality American fare. They have a great family atmosphere that is great as a casual lunch or dinner spot. Don’t make the mistake of eating too many apps. Save room for the wide range of cookies, cake and pie. They have lots of products available for you to take home and enjoy like sauces and honey.I especially liked that they have some local craft beer for purchase.

They have a variety of food, fast service and tastes great. good atmosphere. Windy corner is an out of the way place with jockey colors hanging on the walls and a covered open air seating available.

This restaurant is an interesting experience in the beautiful countryside east of Lexington. Down-home cooking with options from breakfast to fried chicken and more. The bourbon chocolate pecan pie was a special treat. The main dinning area is bit loud, only because the acoustics of the area needs some additional work. The option to sit in adjoining indoor was perfect and if the weather is favorable, they have plenty of picnic tables on the lawn with food delivered to you. You can’t beat that! Windy Corner was a wonderful find.

Surrounded by horse farms about six miles from I-64, this unique restaurant setting is worth the drive on a sunny day. The food was tasty. It is open seven days a week. We enjoyed the artichoke fritters; the catfish po-boys; the fried shrimp basket and the creamy cole slaw. The fritters were outstanding. The amount of catfish was small compared to the large bun. After placing our order at the counter, the food was served promptly. We were too full to try their home made bakery goods.

I was really excited to try this restaurant. Heard some good things about it but I was really disappointed. The food was just so so. I ordered the chicken finger basket. The chicken was kind of tasteless and I couldn't eat the slaw. There were too many onions in the slaw and they were SO STRONG!! My companions seemed to enjoy their meals but I left hungry. The restaurant was clean and the service was fine. I don’t know if I would go back.

Learned about the Windy Corner Market while looking for places to eat during our overnight trip to Lexington. We just love out of the way, hole in the wall places and this place didn't disappoint! It is the cutest little building nestled amongst a bunch of horse farms. When you go in you are greeted by smiling faces and fresh baked goods all on display by the register. The walls are lined with locally made sauces, spice blends, honey, jams, beer, pickles...I could go on! The menu was surprisingly very out of the box for this country cafe. We shared the artichoke fritters, my wife had a po boy, and I had a burger smothered in bourbon barrel bacon jam and beer cheese!! Before we left we did purchase some local goods and a couple pieces of pie. Great little stop that was worth every penny!!

My favorite restaurant in Lexington. The location is beautiful and the staff are always friendly. All of their menu items are delicious, and they have many unique, Kentucky themed food options. Their po boy with fried pickles and beer cheese is great

All Ouita Michael restaurants are good. This one is overpriced but the food is good and served hot. If you want a drive in the Lexington horse country, get off the Interstate and drive to this restaurant.

Food was good. You have to order at the counter, get your own drinks and then find a table. Not a fan of that.
