This place is an experience way beyond coffee and food. It will make you remember, think, feel, and hope.
My undergrad college was right next to Third Street Stuff, so this has been a favorite spot for me for a long time. Great range of coffee drinks and pastries. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. The "stuff" section has gotten smaller over the years, but there are still lots of cool gifts and items for purchase. They've added a large loose-leaf tea selection since I was last there. Their seasonal drinks are always worth checking out. Staff is consistently friendly. Soooo much personality in the space--it's a great place to spend some time. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the the Lexington area.
Easily one of the best atmospheres in Lexington. The absolute perfect place to sit and chill with its mixture of cozy, outgoing, and marvelous. I genuinely don’t think I would trade Third Street for anything else.
If I could give them 10 stars ✨ I would. That is how bright they shine. I am forever grateful and emo from a visit where the amazing pink-haired barista treated me and my child with autism with unsurpassable kindness and thoughtfulness. She went out of her way to understand his disability in a crowded line and make sure I could get my Angela Davis (so delicious) despite the huge line of Transy students. Also, the owner is just as wonderful and always speaks to patrons. There is another employee, perhaps a gent, who is there a lot and is also exemplary.? They have a delicious vegetarian and olive sandwichLove that the business owner believes in social justice.I am so thankful 3rd street still exists after so many years. ??
A collision of coffee, culture, art, and botany in a cozy 1 story house.Prices are very reasonable.Team is friendly.Drinks are prepared with presentation in mind.Vibes are down-to-earth.Plenty of nooks to suit your lounging, studying/working, socializing, reading, or chilling needs. Background music feels the air but isn’t too loud.Atmosphere imbues relaxation and art permeates the walls. This coffeehouse is uniquely funky and refreshing from the tried and true franchises.
Ever since I found this place, I have been stopping in for coffee whenever I am near it. Definitely a unique spot with coffee, food, oddities and such. Love the owner (you will find her running around working during the day and photos displayed of her couch burning on campus on the walls! Go Cats!) Also, check out the murals nearby!
Cute place, friendly staff, great espresso drinks. A trifecta!
I drive across town just to get a latte and a Cajun turkey bagel. Ms. Pat is something special and the baristas are all phenomenal. It’s an eclectic space that supports the community at every turn. If you haven’t been, go.
One of my favorite places to visit while in Lexington. Great staff, drinks, & vibe?
The vibe here is enough to draw you in. It’s the kind of place you walk in and immediately feel safe. I love the art and crafty things they have for sale. We had a bagel, a sandwich, a scone, and two different coffees - all of which are good. We travel all over and a lot of coffee shops can easily feel pretentious but this is NOT one of them. It’s cozy and warm and I’m in no hurry to leave. Thanks for curating this wonderful space for Lex!
