Edit: upon speaking to the owner, I am changing my review. The owner did a fabulous job contacting me and making sure to ask questions about my visit and fix the problem. Bravo! I will definitely return to The Human Bean knowing how the owner handles their business.I hate this because I love their coffee, but every time we go here we order at the speaker, wait in line, and when we get to the window, they either have it wrong or we have to tell them our order over again. Today the 5+ young people working had a discussion about our order while we sat there waiting. Then we had to tell them twice again. It was one drink and one sandwich. One or two times is forgivable. But it’s every time now. I hope they get this worked out. Their coffee is good and the workers are usually nice, but they are young and they (or corporate) don’t seem equipped to do the job.
My favorite regular coffee shop! It helps a lot that's its on my way to work, but they have fantastic lattes and Italian creme breves. Those are my go-to drinks but they have many other wonderful things that I enjoy.Pros-seasonal Bakery items (pumpkin muffins!)- cookies- fruit smoothies!- easy access- quick service!Cons- none come to mind
For the first-timers, this is a drive-thru coffee stand. No indoor ordering, pick-up, or dining is available. There is only one outdoor table with bench seating.Tried the 12 oz frozen Java Chip, and I’ll admit …Starbucks “we have a problem”.As much as I can rely on the consistency of Starbuck’s Mocha Cookie Crumble, The Human Beans blended Java Chip granita is encroaching on Starbucks famously trademarked Frappuccino, and rightly so.The Human Bean prides itself on having the highest quality ingredients. And that may not be entirely haughty claims.Indeed, if you like chocolate, then you’re in for a treat friends. For the Java Chip frozen beverage, The Human Bean uses delicious gourmet dark chocolate chips from Ghirardelli, a renowned Italian chocolatier. This chocolate definitely gives this frozen coffee beverage an impressively distinctive taste. To top it off, they garnish their drinks with their signature chocolate covered espresso bean.Supposedly, this little extra treat and tiny morsel of deliciousness comes on top of each drink, not just the frozen ones.In all, although there isn’t any indoor seating, this drive-thru coffee chain is convenient and serves quality coffee. Glad to know there is another solid option to choose from.Hope you have a good experience.Until next time fellow local guides, remember do your best to be a good “human bean”.
Had the Mexican Mocha and the Vanilla Mocha. Both were delicious. The staff was very friendly and did an excellent job of describing the drinks when helping us decide. I will visit again the next time I’m in town.
A cute little place with great taste of coffees. My wife loved it here. The staff was really helpful and welcoming.
Everything I've had here is delicious. The staff is knowledgeable and gave us some recommendations. I can't wait to try more menu items.
I order the same thing and am always satisfied with my order. Today they did not fill up the cup with coffee and the reason is because I don't get ice, thats the amount of coffee I get. Why is today different then any other day that they fill the cup all the way? I won't be back because of the female employee there. She is rude on the speaker and at the window. Usually doesn't bother me but along with a coffee that isn't worth the price, I won't come back.
Ordered two salted caramel lattes yesterday which tasted like hot water with a slight burnt taste. No resemblance to coffee or caramel. We tried to drink it to not waste our money. We was traveling to Ohio. Threw half away and didn’t enjoy any of it. I have a small espresso machine at home $100 machine. I have zero training and cannot froth milk properly however I can make a quality coffee drink which I did today. Salted caramel at that.
Pretty good coffee. I like the flavors better than Starbucks and the people that work there are eager to help you figure out what you might like.
I absolutely love the coffee and I am a regular customer. I rated it 3 stars, due to the rude behavior of the Manager. I am contemplating if I even want to return, but really like the coffee. This is the second time I have witnessed this Manager display rude behavior. The most recent incident I had paid for something that I never received. Upon kindly mentioning this to an employee, she interrupted our conversation on the speaker and became confrontational about it. She insinuated that I was trying to get something free. Who even does that!? She was reactionary very quickly, and didn't seem to stop and think before speaking. Even if she was just projecting her stress, this is not okay, especially when she is the manager.
