I went two days in a row and loved it. The first day I went was closer to closing to time. The cinnamon rolls were still good, it’s just that they leave their pastries on a rack so eventually they dry a little throughout the day. But I went early in the morning again, and their pastries were warm and fresh. Courteous staff!!:) Recommend going closer to 8:30 after the initial rush.
These cinnamon rolls are NEXT LEVEL! We came from out of town and I did a little research and this was the overwhelming recommendation. All of these people were spot on! The clerk was so friendly and helpful. Will be coming back every chance I get. 10/10

Delicious cinnamon rolls and coffee! Hands down, best rolls I’ve ever had- and the coffee was definitely the best in Lexington. (Light roast/black)…And, I don’t know if the gentleman working there had a sixth sense that I had been having a rough morning and was running late due to a coffee disaster at home that prompted a complete wardrobe change as I was rushing out the door…. But, he gave me a hazelnut brownie to try- and it was unbelievable We had a special team breakfast to celebrate 14 years of business today, and this definitely made it special!
The best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had. I love that they also have frozen take away now. Only advice- come early on weekends as they often sell out!
Tasty bake goods! Cinnamon rolls,moist,buttery with right amount of icing.Warm, melts in your mouth. Lemon cookies are so delicious.
RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.This place is so good. I'm a sweet tooth guy all the way so I go for the many varieties of cinnamon rolls, amazing chocolate chip cookies, and brownies. But even the weird savory stuff my wife gets is really good too!Just try their cookies and you'll understand the first line.
I was having the worst Friday morning after dealing with the DMV and losing my phone, so the cashier (I wish I had asked for her name) gave me a free scone and wished me a better day. That small gesture of kindness was so greatly appreciated.They also have the BEST scone I've ever had in my life -their orange cranberry is perfection.
I don’t make reviews often, because I have to be really wowed to do so. But if you’ve never been here before, RUN! The honey buns are to die for! The flavors are incredible and worth the wait. I recommend the honey buns and the bacon pimento scones, as well as the cheddar scallion scones. ?? The atmosphere is warm and the staff are super friendly. So glad you’re here, The Futile Bakery!!!
So delicious! Really enjoyed these Christmas cinnamon rolls but you can’t go wrong with any of their wonderful baked goods!
