Hot sauce = spicy ketchup. Spend the extra dollars on El Toro. Literally right down the street. Over priced garbage here- or Taco Bell is a stones throw in the other direction.Bad.

Taco Tico is one of my favorite restaurants, and has a lot of childhood memories attached. Since the one in Louisville closed, I'd been missing it...and making the drive to Lexington was worth the trip! Great location, very nice and the food was awesome. Will make the trip again!
This place is a joke. We are traveling and stopped off due to reviews but everything was poorly made, lacking toppings, and pricey. Tacos had no filling and a stale flour shell. Margarita is all sugar for $7. Really wish we skipped it. Not sure what the hype is about unless it’s just nostalgia.
review for drive thru only ...... I have bragged on store since opening,but have only eaten inside.Last night decided to do a drive thru. 2 taco salads , deluxe enchilada and 2 margaritas .Well...... got home salads had no sauce , enchiladas had no sauce,green onions,cheese etc on top ,like normally. Margaritas little pricey for 7bucks in a plastic cup at a fast foody. 38 bucks, hmm don't know about this
In the past, I’ve always enjoyed Taco Tico’s quick service and tasty Mexican-style food. I recently went through the drive through after 7 pm when it seemed like no one else was there. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but, possibly due to being slow, the refried beans were dried out and the rice seemed overcooked. My taco and sancho were great. It’s a nice alternative to Taco Bell and they have truly spicy California reaper sauce!
It was as great as every time we eat at a Taco Tico location. Today I decided to try their chicken quesadilla and OMGOODNESS!!! it beats out taco bells in taste cheese and chicken amount! It was STUFFED full of cheese and chicken. I could not really taste their green chili sauce or ranch sauce very much which is a good thing or it might have been to spicy for me. I love taco tico!!!
Well, Taco Tico is suppose to close at 9pm on Sunday, but obviously I am mistaken. I rolled into their parking lot at 8:47 pm, the sign saying OPEN was still lit so I went to the drive through. Well upon pulling around there was an orange traffic cone blocking the drive through, no biggie. I pulled around parked, verified the open sign was still on, and it was. Got out of my car to go in to order, but the door was locked. Well I figured done with this, and went to Taco Bell.
Not worth the money. Ordered a Taco salad substitute beef for chicken. Disappointed. Paid almost 13 dollars for a shell of lettuce and beans. I had 7 tiny pieces of chicken. This is my 2nd time at Taco Tico in the past few months disappointed again.Don't waste your time or money.
Amazing! Great food. Food is fresh. Very friendly. My favorite location!
