My wife ordered the jaiba dish which was as well flavorless she also ordered two shrimp tacos and the shrimp was over cooked. I ordered octopus Al pil pil it was supposed to be spicy there was not any type of chili peppers on it or on the sauce super sour and I also ordered the smoked oisters salad it was awful. My wife ordered fried bananas. It seemed they have used the oil for the whole month and not cleaned any crumbs from previous dishes that they had fried in the same oil at 5:45 the waiter came to our table to tell us that we needed to hurry up because they were closing at 6 pm . I will not recommend anyone to come eat at this place horrible horrible horrible food and the service was not any better,

I was very impressed with this place. They follow the hygiene rules and I felt very safe whilst there. I had a the Filete a la Tikin Xic which was fresh and delicious followed by the Flan. I see someone said this place is overpriced in the reviews and would prefer the street Tacos ?...Well you get what you pay for and I found it to be excellent value for money. If you like street food go there! I prefer to enjoy my food in comfort personally!

Day tripped to Chetumal from Corozal Belize and wanted to try based on reviews. Across the board wonderful. Service was friendly and accommodating to our lack of speaking much Spanish. Tacos were fast, fresh and absolutely delicious. Then to top it off, at the end of our meal I inquired about purchasing a hat, despite not seeing any for sale. The owner/hostess/lady in charge was so nice in getting me one. If we're ever back, El Taco Loco will be a must! Thank you for a fantastic experience!
