Stella’s never lets me down. Today, I had my first lentil burger. My server, Mary, told me she loved the burger, but I was skeptical. Mary said nothing but the truth! It is delicious. It’s better than any hamburger I’ve ever had. I will not miss eating meat. I must also say a huge thank you to all of Stella’s Kentucky Deli staff (especially the servers). A patron, who I will call Karen, had an issue with my group—a group of beautiful Black women— eating at the restaurant. The staff (especially Mary) showed Karen the door and let Karen know bigotry and hate are not tolerated. I’ve long been a fan of this restaurant. Today, I’m even more of a fan. Keep up the great work! ?

Stella’s had great food! But I really wanted to come here and shout out the servers that worked today, especially Mary, who was intentional about making sure people of color felt welcome and safe in this establishment! I’ll be back!

Vegan sandwiches, and vegan burrito

Vegan burrito was excellent.

Very nice lunch in a cozy atmosphere. Service and food were great. Wish we had not gotta to full to try their delicious looking deserts.

RUN to try this place. Vegan/vegetarian options are stellar. Lentil soup is outstanding, properly seasoned and brimming with carrots and onions and herbs. The TLT, tofu, lettuce and tomato, is genuinely fresh and delicious. The star of this sandwich, the tomato, absolutely delivered as anticipated - perfectly firm, ripe, and fully flavorful. The different tastes blend well and the vegan cheddar and mayo/dressing are a home run with the tofu. The side order of kale lit me up. It has quite a peppery bite, jalapeños? It was sweet and tasty with real, lingering heat. Although quite delicious, a little above my threshold. I may try to push through. Lol. The coffee is rich and bold. On top of that, the service was very friendly, and she was very knowledgeable about the place and its history. This Old House has had many purposes and was built in the late 1800s with quite beautiful architecture. I would definitely go out of my way to come back here again. Highly recommended!!! ❤

This little deli serves delicious food. Today was my first time dining in. I had the blt with egg and tomato bisque; it was great! Also, the best chess pie I have ever tasted!

Cute place with fun atmosphere. Street parking without a problem. Burger was superb.

Good food with fresh ingredients.

For anyone considering having a meal at Stella’s deli.. DONT! We ordered 80 dollars worth of food and all one the burger were still RAW and we were missing the chips and pickle for all meals. I called back and requested them to remake the burgers and I would bring the others back. They RE-COOKED one of the half burgers that was eaten from and I bite in to mine and it’s more RAW than the first ones!
