Went for a birthday dinner with my family. I had fish and chips - excellent!

Delicious summer menu with many options that stay on the menu year round. Quick service, hot food and delicious. Salmon croquettes were delish. The house salad was good but the ginger vinaigrette was the best. Shrimp taco was good. Fried banana peppers were great too. Step over for a cider, ale, or IPA, from West Sixth, you won't regret it

First chance I’d had to eat here and it was very good. The oysters were breaded well and cooked perfectly, nice and tender. The cole slaw was different from what most places serve, not at all sweet, but crisp with a different sort of flavor. Alas, the fries were cooked darker and limper than I prefer but the waiter said they can cook them to your preference if you ask. As for the remoulade sauce? Delicious, spicy with just a bit of bite, and an ideal match for the oysters. I enjoyed eating there and will definitely go back.

Placed our order at 1:30PM on a Saturday, and here we sit at 2:50PM without our food. I reported our lack of food at 2:20PM, indicating our 50 minute wait. The server pointed at what appeared to be our ticket, 2nd in line, so our food should be coming right up.Still no food 30 minutes later.Tickets get lost, it happens, but no one took ownership of our issue and bad experience when we reported it. This happens under mismanagement.Although the first cashier seemed disinterested and somewhat inconvenienced by our arrival, the servers were very nice and seemed to be working hard to do their best! The cashier who processed my refund seemed quite pleasant, professional, and apologetic.Nevertheless, without the natural lowering of restaurant standards afforded by the brewery, I suspect this place wouldn't be open long.Sad, I wanted to try their fish. I won't be back.

We had been hearing about Smithtown for months and decided to have dinner here while having a beer at West 6th. It was difficult choosing what to order as the shrimp and grits battled fish and chips in my head, two of my favorites! In the end both myself and my husband went with fish since beer goes so well with that. LOL We were very happy we did as it was fantastic! Very crispy on the outside and flaky inside, served with two flavor-filled hush puppies and my favorite kind of fries. And to beat all, even their ketchup and tartar sauce was excellent. ?? My husband got the remoulade which had just a bit of heat, and I definitely I will get that next time.

I liked the idea of being able to order a meal with my beer (which was amazing), but the set up was strange and somewhat awkward. My reason for going there was to visit the brewery next door. Since I wanted to eat, I had to locate a seat FIRST, then walk to the restaurant and order food and prepay. I ordered the catfish and grits, and supposedly there were some fried onion rings in there somewhere. Definitely not the best seafood I've ever had, and I felt somewhat overpriced for the amount of food supplied.

Love stopping here on our way through KY! Buffalo catfish sandwich is my fave! We love taking a rest and eating in West Sixth brewery.

The Singapore Salad and Buffalo Fish Sandwich are my go-tos. It can take a bit when the brewery (the restaurant is connected to West Sixth Brewery) is packed but the food has always been hot and fresh.

Really crispy fish and chips! The fries were amazing!

great place toured the Aquaponics farm inside
