This was a very confusing experience. I walked in and couldn't tell if they were still in-business or what was going on. It felt like I was intruding. When you first enter, you're in this strange, small room (about 10 ft. long x 8 ft. wide) that is sealed off from the actual restaurant. You can see the actual restaurant but it's very dark and looks abandoned, yet there was someone there who did come take my order through the little window they open. If you dine in, there are two tables to choose from, but it's not an actual dine in experience, you essentially just get to eat your take out food alone in the sad little room (which was a bummer because I was hoping to reduce the amount of plastic we waste on takeout by dining in). The ramen itself was unfortunately disappointing (lukewarm, yet the egg was cold, etc.) Overall it felt dehumanizing and bizarre.
Not a good experience. Ft they were trying to get me out the door asap. Went for "real ramen," as i usually just make noodles. Still searching for good ramen. I have better sushi places. Honesty surprised they are still in business. Wasteed my money.
I've been wanting ramen, aside from Walmart options, for the longest time and this place was GREAT.Spicy coconut milk creamy chicken (extra chicken, egg, and spicy). Will be back next time in the area!
the food is good. but the place is dark ? really weird. upon arrival it seemed abandoned they serve you through a small window. there is nothing comfortable, cheerful or cozy about this place. there were also many cobwebs. I felt like I was in another dimension ? order your food and go far away from there to eat in a clean, comfortable and "beautiful" place, it makes you sad to eat there. the attention is "so basic"... they only open the window to ask what you want, they close it while you decide, they open it to give you your food and they never ask you if you need anything. It is not a good place to eat there. take your food and go.
Great food! We got ramen and sushi and all of it was delicious. The tonkotsu broth and the miso broth both had great flavor along with the chasu. The only slight complaint I have is I REALLY LOVE marinated soft boiled eggs in ramen and they were plain hard boiled eggs, but it was still great. Will definitely go back!
I'm not the type to leave bad review. I always give 20% or more of a tip to food service workers but I have to write about this. The food was good but the worker there gave us someone's else's food ontop of ours and called us 30 minutes later trying to get us to bring back the food to give to the customer, which is a health code violation. I told them I already ate the food so I couldn't even give them the food back if I had it. They proceeded to call be several times to try to try to get me to either bring back the food or pay for it to point where I would call it harassment. If they are willing to take back food they handed out wrongly, what other corners are they willing to cut?
Told the lady 3 times for no avocado on my sushi and she talked over me everytime I said it then claimed I didn't say no avocado when indeed I did because I'm allergic, very rude. Food is good af tho.
Ramen didn't really have any flavor and the noodles were spaghetti noodles. Pork was good but you don't get much in the ramen and the egg was over cooked. Probably won't go back as prices are a little high and expected more flavor.
Was there a day before thanksgiving. Terrible and rude service. Very pricy and not worth it. The lady even asked me to throw all the trash myself??? I gave tip and was dining in. Also feel sorry for the doordasher that day. He waited for at least half an hour and the lady was rude and yelled at him.Follow up:The owner replied to my comments and call me Chinese. Well, I am not Chinese and as you can see. This is the attitude you will get. BTW before I went I called and asked if I can dine in. They said yes they have two tables though. You will be surprised when you see "the tables".
Great food, but dine in is still restricted and limited because of covid. Once they open back up fully, it'll be a regular spot
