When I walked in the building is musky smelling. That alone worried me about the quality of the food. Then the lady who was serving me was quite rude. When I asked if they had a lunch menu she looked at me like I was dumb for a good 10 seconds. It may have been a silly question but she clearly wasn’t going to offer me one if I didn’t ask for it.Then at that point she decided to ID me.She double checked my id with some special light and asked if it was me.So at that point I just took my id back and walked out.And I was quite hungry.
After bicycling the Legacy Trail we stopped by Rose & Jim's Bar & Grill. I've driven by many times seeing the bar perched on a hill just off of Georgetown Rd. The bar is the old fashion style small rectangle cinder block building, dark inside, with a jute box, pool tables, and wraparound bar with barstools. No draft beer. Just bottles. And, hard liquor of course. We ordered the beer cheese tray and wings. They were both very good. We also got a couple bottles of Budweiser, $2 each. There were several different groupings of tables outside with lots of seats to accommodate lots of individual groups of people. This place could have been your local bar 40 years ago in whatever state you lived in. Overall, an interesting place with lots of characters. Check it out sometime.
in the area for a wedding and came to this bar for some day drinking! awesome bartender and really fun atmosphere!!! definitely worth checking It out
Best taco salad ever! My Bacon double cheeseburger and chilli cheese fries were just as amazing! Truly some of the best down home bar food I've had in a long time!
I went there last night and the whole service was great..the owner actually gets to know her customers...she made my chicken wings exactly how i like them....good ppl ..awesome environment.. I didnt even had to pay for my tab..another customer did....i love this spot..the owner is sooooooo cool
Ridiculously overpriced, cash only bar in Lexington. Oh and the 5 dollar cover is a rip off. Essentially paying 25 bucks for two drinks is outrageous for a place like this. Would rate zero stars if I could. Only pro is close to hotels.
We stopped for lunch on a rainy day so we weren’t able to enjoy the patio, but the inside was quaint, clean and comfortable. Nice people. Good food. Everything was extremely fresh and tasty. Definitely our new best find in Lexington.
Great place great people. Awesome owner.
I was in from out of town and just happened to stop in here with my Mom on a Friday afternoon. What a great find! At first I thought we were out of our element with my Mom in tow, but everyone was so nice.. drinks were great and the food was great. I had a chicken sandwich, but right after I ordered, I was told by another customer that the quesadillas are amazing. We'll definitely be back to try them, next time we come to visit my Mom.
Have always wanted to stop here. It looked so fun, it is!!! Son played in cornhole tournament so I tagged along. Very friendly!! Great onion rings!
