Good like home cooking at its best no matter what u order u will be satisfied ?

We walked in and immediately were greeted and seated at a table. The tables have antique wooden chairs and some are painted. They also offer booths and an outside eating area. Pay attention to the unique fan. It runs several off of one motor. They have daily specials. Our waitress was friendly. We had never had fried banana peppers. They are served with cocktail sauce which is great but I suggest requesting Ranch dressing. I had a hot brown which was delicious, a Kentucky must. My wife had a turkey club and fried green tomatoes which were perfect. And the tea was good. Excellent wait staff.

Not being a Kentucky native, I had never heard of a "hot brown" before, but it's evidently a popular dish. I've been missing out! So many flavors and textures. Not at all what I envisioned. And no visit is complete without a slice (or three) of Missy's pie. My personal recommendation for indulgence is the black bottom banana pie and if you're a fan of peanut better and chocolate, opt for the "combo" pie. You won't be disappointed. Service was great, seating was available immediately (including an outdoor area that's screened in, so quite comfortable even on slightly cool days like today). Erica was great and informative. Very familiar with the menu and willing to offer recommendations if asked. Great place and, in spite of the fact that it's a 2 hour drive for me, I'll definitely make the trip back. Highly recommend if you're around Lexington, hungry and looking for a welcoming atmosphere with an eclectic menu.

I’ve eaten at Ramsey’s a few times when visiting Lexington, and it’s always been very good (7/10). Today I would give it more like a 4. Meatloaf was nothing special, Mac-n-cheese was pretty decent but nothing to get excited about, deep fried Parmesan corn was over cooked, as was the okra. The only saving grace was the chocolate brownie pie with ice cream for dessert. I won’t be in a hurry to return. Cracker Barrel would have been better.

Waitress was very friendly and service was very good.

happy hour cocktails, great food and friendly home cooking.

What a menu selection and their food is actually home cooked. Their corn tasted like my garden corn that I just pulled from my freezer. Great service. Highly recommend.

What’s not good to say about Ramsey’s? I absolutely love it, you can literally order something different every time you go and love it. I’ve personally never had a bad meal there. I highly recommend you check them out if you haven’t already.

Delicious!Breakfast is offered all day.True dining bliss.

When a restaurant calls itself "home style," it often just means lots of grease and fried foods. Ramsey's is the real deal. I had a lightly breaded tenderloin, pan fried, with fried green tomatoes. SWMBO had the hot Mari, their variation on a French dip. Both plates were excellent and attractive, service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable. I don't know when we'll be back this way, but this will be on our list of restaurants to return to.
