We showed up with 10 people and no reservation at 1pm on a Sunday. They we're able to quickly work us in. Sat on the enclosed patio. Service was quick and mistake free. Food was excellent. I love Hot Brown and it was awesome!! Everyone enjoyed their meals. We had people from 7 to 80 years old. I can't wait to go back and try something else.
Called for takeout they picked up the phone and never said please hold. They just put the phone in their pocket and never answered. The only reason I still decided to order is because my friend had requested lunch there for her 50th birthday. I had came in town from North Carolina. I am originally from Nicholasville but I will not go back. No apology or any concern about how a customer could still be on the phone for over 25 minutes and was still on the continuous call even when arriving and placing order. The guy who answered the phone still had the phone in his pocket when I mentioned I was still on the line. He simply pulled out of his pocket and hung up. During these economic times I would think businesses would appreciate the customers and have better customer service.
Absolutely amazing food. Casual dining both inside and outdoor patio. Family oriented atmosphere. The food is unbelievably delicious. I was hooked after my first time there. Awesome diner style comfort food with a kick.....and a twist. Don't leave tho without trying the pies. They're all homemade daily and well worth every penny. They also do have spirits,wine,and beer for those interested.
Great service !!! The waiters and waitresses worked together when one would see we needed refills eventho they was not waiting on us they make sure we had refills or needed anything else Very good food reasonably priced!!! Best desserts ? ever !!!
Recently my wife and I, along with another couple, had dinner at Ramsey's Diner. The decor is nice. The service both nights was very slow. The menu is a bit eclectic. The portions are large. But for me, large portions of a poor to average food just doesn't cut it. I had the Turkey Reuben at $13.95. Long story short, I was sick shortly after. My wife had the Roast Beef Dinner at $16.95. She also feel ill. I have no idea why locals seem to love this place!

You get delicious home-cooked meals here. Had the biscuit and gravy for breakfast and it was very good.
Great home cooking. Food always hot, summer time is the best when they use local fresh tomatoes and corn. Good place to have a nice lunch.
Long standing, well-established diner in the Lexington area. I had the veggie plate which consists of your choice of four veggies, from a wide selection, with two cornbread sticks("real" butter instead of margarine, would've been a much tastier option for the corn sticks.) The creamed corn is yummy. The entryway, dining area and restrooms could definitely use a spruce-up. Overall, good comfort food, with tasty coconut cream pie.
Lovely lunch and my waitress was precious! I really recommend the creamed Corn it was so good.
