My wife and I loved it here. From the super friendly staff to the indoor/outdoor environment to the live music and the different food choices. A little pricey but no cover for the live music and broad food and drink selection. Will return for sure. Oh and adult Capri Suns to go was the best.

We discovered Proud Mary's on a scenic drive and it has become one of our favorite places to eat in the summer time! The restaurant is located right on the river and has a large outdoor seating area. Most of the times we've gone there has been live music too which has been lots of fun! The food is classic barbecue and is on par with other BBQ places in town. The staff has been very helpful each time we have visited. Highly recommend.

Great atmosphere on the Saturday I was there. Outdoor seating with live music, Pick City, they were good as well. I ordered the pork nachos, gotta say, they were different, but delicious. Pork sandwich was also good. Serving size of our meal was on par for a BBQ joint. I will definitely be going back.

Went with friends. We had the pulled pork nachos (good) and I got catfish and ribs. The catfish was fine, nothing special about it. The ribs were the worst I've ever had. When I got home, I discovered a wire in my green beans. These went straight from the restaurant to my fridge, so I don't know how else it could've gotten there. Won't be eating there again; too many other choices that have far, far better food. This place is mostly for the view.

Best BBQ around, still serve beef ribs, good sides, excellent drinks and awesome live music!!

This place has a lot of upsides and great potential. My family of 6 went for lunch on a Sunday. Arrived at 12 noon when they opened. Host asked me if I wanted outside table or inside. We sat outside overlooking the sand pit, bar and band area. Everything appeared clean and in good order. My wife and I don’t drink or party but this looks like a fantastic place to do such! I ordered a combo pulled pork and crawfish ettoufe with sides of cole slaw and tomato/cucumber. The pork was quite good but could use a mild smoke flavor. Ettoufe was good tasting but needed more rice. The sides were rather skimpy but still ok. We all left full. I’ve always thought all restaurants could really keep patrons coming back if they would just do one simple thing. (Texas Roadhouse has this perfected!) When the hostess seats people, take something to eat with you to immediately put on the table. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy or pricey. Rolls? Carrots/celery? Crackers? Anything that most people would like. You could be the talk of the town if you came up with some kind of unique signature item that sets you apart from all the rest!!

This place is all about the money. Charged a dollar a person for everyone in our party for cake cutting fee. It was a Birthday cake we brought and cut ourselves. Some people didn’t eat cake and still got charged the dollar. Prices of food very high for subpar food. We spent over 300 dollars on food there. It was our first and last visit.

This restaurant has a fun atmosphere, and beautiful views as it sits on the banks of great Kentucky river in the heart of the palisades. There is no other place like it to my knowledge. The plating of the food is done in a fun and unique way, and the food is always good. I had the catfish, crawfish etoufee and cucumbers and tomatoes and baked beans. Everything was good except for the baked beans. They’re a mix of black sans pinto beans and are not to my taste or liking. But the catfish and etoufee were delicious. The server was extremely busy and ordering took a while, but we were out for a leisurely dinner and didn’t care. My sister has bad celiac and chron’s disease and can eat here well. The live bad provided good, albeit blaringly loud music. There is lots of outdoor seating. But, this place is very popular. I mean very. A wait pf 2 hours for a table on a Friday or Saturday is normal. Expect this when you go. But, you can partake of free extensive and thoughtful alcohol selection and take in the beautiful scenery. We had a great time and this is one of our favorite places.

High prices, very small sides and portions. Visited for the first time last night, will never return

What a great place to relax and get some great food during a road trip. Located just off I75 , just a fun little drive. Very scenic. If we were locals we would be there all the time ! We got the pick 3 with ribs pulled pork and brisket it was wonderful! Our waitress ( who was wearing a Prince shirt) was wonderful and very attentive. Get the sweet tea, done to perfection.
