We were hosting about 20 people for dinner this week and Porterhouse provided a delicious meal! It was easy to pre-order and pick-up. Everyone loved the tender brisket and chicken plus the sides were amazing! Even had leftovers the next day! Thank you all for everything!
This BBQ is awesome! Never disappoints I've had the ribs, pulled pork and brisket on several occasions and it's always consistent. Today I took my son for lunch and he had the Mac and Cheese Bowl couldn't eat it all, super size portions. No problem a little snack for later.
Porterhouse BBQ laid the snack down tonight with their first time releasing Beef Short ribs. The bark was on point, excellent smoke ring, texture was porous and tender. Every bite was tasty and mouth watering.As always the Mac and cheese held it down. Cheesy crust layer in every bite or all at once.I can’t recommend this place enough! Killer meal!
I have traveled all over the country and have been to the top/best bbq joints. Each style is different and deserve high ratings based on what type of bbq it is (Carolina vs Memphis vs west Texas, etc). And I have to hats to prove I’ve been there ;-). Hands down, best brisket I’ve ever had. Second, I have a real pet peeve for “pitmasters” who try and sell me Sara Lee food service sides. If you can’t get your sides right then you aren’t a true pitmaster in my book. Side here vary day to day and Wow! They are awesome. I had some smoked cabbage and green beans. Bam! They nailed it. I sincerely hope this place prospers and gets your business. Because it would be a Greek tragedy to have this place go out of business. It’s that good my friend.

By far the best BBQ in Lexington! Brisket was incredibly tender and juicy. You don’t really need sauce but the sweet heat is something else! Believe me you’ll leave stuffed and satisfied. Can’t wait to come back!

Awesome food & portions! Friendly & helpful staff! I had mentioned my husband’s inability to chew foods right now due to teeth removal to make way for dentures. They made helpful suggestions & it worked out beautifully! We were able to enjoy a very tasty dinner together on Easter after all! Thank you Porterhouse! We will definitely be back! Ok are here for the first time today. The food here is incredible. The ribs were the most tender I have had in town. The pork belly was divine, the pulled chicken was excellent! The brisket was super tender.
