Friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, clean, plenty of seating, and the beer even impressed my brewer wife! I really liked the marshmallow cream ale. My only complaint is the back room was large and empty so it echoed. There were only six people in a group and us two and it was way too loud. We have been to breweries across the country and this one stands out!
Awesome Environment! Amazing place!
Used to be a great place to have a few ciders and hang out, but there is not enough seating anymore, especially on weekends. The back room is used for birthday parties and other events even on Saturday nights when the main seating area is packed. Sitting outside is usually fine, but on cold nights that isn't an option since they have no heating. Awhile ago they said they would address the heat issue but this was an empty promise. Overall I'm glad to see one of my favorite breweries growing, but they need to keep their customers in mind as they do so.
Do not sleep on Pivot. They have a wide selection of beers and ciders and each one is well thought out and delicious. Not only that, they are the only solar-powered brewery/cidery in the state which is super cool! Snagged food at their rotating/visiting food trucks (they have restaurants nearby that deliver there too) and brought some friends with games to enjoy an afternoon. They have ample seating (indoor and outdoor) and believe they'll be adding more outdoor for the warm seasons. Staff is personable and helpful when it comes to exploring their drink menu. OH, and they have mixes - ciders/beers you can combine to experience a different flavor profile (you gotta try one).
Wonderful craft brewery! We arrived a short time before closing and the bartender was super helpful in determining our beer selections.
Pivot is always a good time! Definitely a good place to crack open a cold one with the homies.
Loved our bartender! Super knowledgeable on recommendations and I loved all the beer and cider tap options.
After attending the free brewery tour, I was able to speak with one of the bartenders throughout the night. While talking about the current tap list, he offered me a free pint of his favorite beer. The food truck variety is also great. Moody Mike’s is always fun and offering unique vegan options that all pair well with beer and cider.
Pivot has great cider, I personally recommend tasting a few different ciders. Definitely worth a stop if you like tasting ciders and beers. As you can see in the photo I got 2 ciders and 2 beers, then went back and got my favorite cider that tasted like cinnamon pears, yummy. They don’t serve food but do have food trucks outside.Google maps took us across the road so if you go, make sure it takes you to Delaware Ave.There are 2 rooms, one is the bar area and the other events can be held in. We went for a women’s Democratic get together. The door is on the side of the building instead of the front. I took a picture of the side.
I've been to this brewery several times, and I feel as though it gets better with each visit. The ciders are excellent! They also have several beers that are quite good. I enjoy the rotations, always seeming to have something new on the horizon. I appreciate all of the events here, especially the comedy shows, and the food trucks (Moody Mike's is wonderful and all vegan)! Overall, an excellent place to visit!
