Wife and went for lunch. Chips were stale. Dinner portion at lunch ($17) skimpy on the chicken. Why would the server only ask one person for drink refill when both customers had empty glass. Not very impressed overall.
We used Papi's to cater our wedding (100 people). Gracie, catering manager, did a superb job working with us to have exactly what we needed. The food was on time, delicious and well within our budget. The chip bar for cocktail hour was a huge success. Everyone loved the food. Papi's does a great job for large events
I recommend the chicken enchiladas with mole sauce. I love them. The rice and beans that are on the side are really good too. The frozen margaritas are also good. On top of that they have a pleasant staff and you don’t have a long wait for your food. I moved here from Texas two months ago and needed this place in my life being so far from home. I have been there 3 times so far and plan on returning again soon!
Tried it for the first time tonight. Very basic menu. Steak fajita nachos were tough and very bland. Probably my least favorite Mexican restaurant in Lexington. The wait staff was attentive.
Pretty typical Mexican restaurant selection Less choices than some. Restrooms are super tiny.
Absolutely horrendous. Chicken tacos were worse than Taco Bell’s and food is insanely overpriced! Will never go back to this sorry excuse of a restaurant.
The music was very very loud. So loud we could not think. In addition, it took 5+ minutes for somebody to even greet us and ask for a drink order. We ended up leaving because the music was giving headaches. Staff was nice and respectful though
DO NOT GO ON KARAOKE NIGHT. They had a bunch of children on a Wednesday night up signing terrible karaoke. I was glad to see kids up singing but it did not make for an enjoyable dinner trying to hear over the loud noise and off key singing. The food was OK but we could not have a conversation and enjoy our company.
Great gluten free options including desserts.
If you make a reservation, don’t count on it being available when you get there. We made reservations for 8 several days in advance for a birthday gathering. When we arrived we were told all reservations had been cancelled and that they were sorry for the inconvenience. Very poor way to conduct business.
