Went here for the first time. Their Peking Duck was cooked to PERFECTION! They separate the meat from the skin and the meat is moist and tender and the skin is crunchy heaven. The wonton soup was exceptional as well. Planning a return trip ASAP!
Great authentic Chinese food. I gotten Beer Duck and I don't know the name of my nephew's soup.
This is HANDS DOWN the most authentic Chinese restaurant in central Kentucky. Panda specializes in Sichuan dishes, and does them well. My husband and I eat here often, and they never disappoint. They also have standard American style dishes on their menu I'd you're not an adventurous eater (but hey, break out of that mold!)...they also have a fabulous weekend buffet featuring their authentic dishes and dim sum.
I love this place. The food is amazing. Always hot, fresh and delicious. Always on point. Always.But the reason I didn’t give 5stars is because of the bathroom, (women) I don’t know what’s going on in the men bathroom, so I can only speak from my experience about the women bathroom , almost every time I come to eat, there’s a toilet out of order or maybe two at the same time. Then the only one that’s working isn’t kept clean. The whole bathroom on a whole isn’t very clean, and I hate that. I feel like a bathroom is the reflection of the kitchen and I pray toGod that isn’t the case. Plz get your toilets fixed , you’re a successful restaurant, make sure the bathroom is always clean and smell good. That’s all I want!
My son and I dropped in for lunch and were expecting a good meal. We didn't get it. The atmosphere was fine and the service was good, but the food was terrible. I ordered won-ton soup and shrimp in garlic sauce. The won-ton soup was tasteless and the shrimp had the consistency of a boiled rubber tire and was inedible. We wound up leaving and stopping by a Zaxby's to get something edible on the way home.
Buffett is only Saturday and Sunday for lunch. I didn't see this anywhere in any reviews so I wanted to put it out there. Looked like a nice place but we didn't stay because we were in the mood to overeat. ?Will definitely be back to try this another day!
Best experience I've had at a Chinese restaurant in over 20 years! Cuisine was prepared in a traditional manner with quality ingredients and served with courtesy and care. I ordered the twice cooked beef and my date had the panda chicken and both dishes were phenomenal. They use a much higher grade of meat than the majority of Chinese restaurants and everything is freshly prepared. Also had a pretty decent offering of beer and liquor. Definitely the Chinese restaurant you want to go to on a date night. Won't be eating anywhere else when I'm in the mood for this type of cuisine in the near future.
It worth driving more than one hour to eat such authentic Chinese food! We have eaten here for several times!
This place is amazing. I came for lunch and wasn’t planning on having their lunch buffet. I decided to try it anyway so I could try multiple dishes since I couldn’t decide. They had the most flavorful food of any Chinese restaurant that I have been to. If you’ve been to any other Chinese restaurant in Lexington and enjoyed it, this one will blow your mind. My wife has been to China and said this is the closest to what she experienced there. ??????
We ordered takeout online. Got there and, despite the email verification of the order, we went in and they “had no record” of our order, so we had to wait an additional 15 minutes. That said, the food was excellent. Sorry, no pics.
