The crabcakes were phenomenal!
We've never had a bad meal at Palmers. Always a good selection. This happened to be restaurant week and the salmon entree was wonderful.
Good food but the only outside table, even with a reservation was in the bar area. Hightop and uncomfortable seats
Perhaps the best place to get breakfast, lunch and dinner in Lexington! While staying locally we ate here three times given it’s phenomenal location, the exceptional views of the bar located on the pond and of course the incredible food. The food, no matter the meal, is always fresh, presented exceptionally well and always tasted great. We were very impressed with the clean restaurant, restrooms and dining area. This is a must stop if you are in Lexington!
Food was good but not quite great. My steak and fries had good flavor but overcooked. Ordered medium but it was a solid medium well. A dining partner also ordered his steak medium but it was decidedly well done. Still was juicy with good flavor, chef just missed the mark on when they were done.Everyone else's food came out as desired and flavors were great.Service had a bit of a rough start as we're waiting a bit before we were greeted by our server but once she arrived she did well.
Weâre visiting several restaurants for restaurant week and I have to say this was most impressive yet. There were 4 large courses of food presented beautifully that tasted great. We had an attentive server who paced the meal perfectly. Great experience!
Good was amazing! Service was a tad slow, but to be expected and definitely worth the wait!
Nice evening. Food was delicious, service was good and it was pleasantly cool in the patio.
I love Palmerâs, itâs got a great view and good food. My only issue is that the timing of service needs adjustment. We were there on the first day of Restaurant Week (4 course prix fixe meal). Our reservation was at 6:30. Our appetizer came promptly, and we were not halfway through it when our server brought the second course salad and said the main course would be there âin a couple of minutesâ (!) I ended up eating the salad side-by-side with the main course, and my dessert was delivered during dinner. Everything went so fast we were in and out in a little over an hour. Four courses! I canât believe Iâm commenting on service being too fast, so in a weird way this is a compliment. But it wasnât a nice experience, I felt like I was in a hot-dog eating contest. Just adjust the timing and Palmers is a real winner.
Wonderful atmosphere. Steak ordered medium rare, served well done, and a poor quality steak. Server was nice but overworked. Pleasant evening on the water but cannot recommend based on food and service.
