I just ate a regular glazed donut here and it was very yummy! I like the ambience here, and I think the owl logo is cool. To drink I just had a black coffee, which had a little bit of a sour / acidy taste and I wasn't too crazy about it. But I would come back here! (Probably for donuts more than coffee though.)
You can’t go wrong with North Lime for coffee and donuts!I love the blackberry filled and the Doissants.They have delicious coffee and I love their limeades in the summer.
As a first time customer, I ordered a dozen of 12 donuts and was not impressed at all. I opened the box and the donuts were all over the place, not packed neatly and completely different sizes. Absolutely nothing like the photos listed on the website. The donuts tasted old and were not good at all.
North Lime’s plain glazed donut is the best in town, and their coffee is tasty and brewed strong. I particularly like this location because it is right across the street from Wellington Park - lots of pet owners at the dog park on a Saturday morning with coffee and donuts in hand!
The coffee is good, the donuts are great. I would not suggest sitting inside. The music was not ambient, it was kept loud so it's difficult to have a conversation, read a book, listen to your own content, or work on something requiring thought.
Very good donuts (cake and yeast varieties), daily donut selection changes slightly, large coffee shop menu. Hipster vibe, countertop and table seating. They show you the 6-8 donuts of the day by the counter. They usually have 2 vegan choices (have not tried). Staff is very friendly and the line moves fast. I have tried most of their daily selection, all are great fresh, but don’t try and save them for the next day… they’re not the same. I haven’t tried their barista made drinks, but based off the daily lines, I would say they must be good.
We don’t come here often but when we do it’s always a special treat. The donuts are AMAZING. Favorite is the chocolate glazed, the choc is so warm and sticky and sweet and rich I could eat 100 of them. The outside sitting area is nice too
Absolutely best donuts in town. Large, sugary with a great variety. Be prepared for a sugar rush!
First time at North Lime. Great service. Doughnuts are different from most as they are heavy but tasted great! Had the chocolate iced with a plain cup of coffee. They have all the fancy stuff but I’m a sugar/cream in regular coffee girl.The lighting is wrong as there were spots that shined right in your eyes. My husband was very uncomfortable.We were sitting by the wall right by the shelves with coffee and cups for sale. He was facing the counter. Thanks for caring!!
Never again will I go to Starbucks. As a mail carrier I NEED coffee, and having found a place with such a local, cute, eclectic vibe where the employees remember my name guarantees a good start to my work day. The drinks are amazing, and the donuts are to die for! With new flavors all the time, you never get bored. Having said this, they could serve me literal trash and sewer water, and I’d still go back because they’re that nice.
