This is THE place for authentic Mexican that we drive 1000 miles for every year. Our family goes two times some trips to the KY area.Chimichanga, the green salsa, carne asada, red rice, fajita chicken, queso.... it's always good. Tried the fish tacos for the first time and possibly best in the country. Fresh and filled with flavor. The Patron margaritas were not as twangy as I remember but still tasted good.A pleasant experience every time.

We were visiting Lexington all the way from California and this restaurant was recommended by my family that lives there! Wow! We had lunch there and from the hostess station (what a sweet girl! Louiza I think?!) to the food, I have to say, what a great experience! The queso and the salsa are really spot on! Me and my husband had the tacos vampiros! Very very good ? and I loved how polite and friendly the staff was!

Ordered pick up via phone. Told them my name and was asked to wait. Saw the bag that was to be mine sit up there for 25 min before they double checked and handed it to me. Made me wait for cold food then scoffed when I asked for it to be remade. Ruined my birthday dinner and lost the place as my favorite Mexican joint in lex. As a patron for over 10 years I will not be returning.

Absolutely amazing! I had the burrito carne asada with chicken, and, can I just say i was in love from the first bite? I never really thought of myself as a big fan of Mexican food, but this place changed the game for me. Everything was so well seasoned and authentic and I couldn't appreciate the staff more for being so patient with us mispronouncing nearly everything. I was not q fan of guacamole before I had it here. Total game changer here and I recommend you give this place a try!

Favorite Mexican food in Lexington. Have enjoyed almost every dish we have tried!

Tacos de barbacoa is excellent. Love the consumme that comes with it.

Food was great, our waitress was awesome. The live music was okay, but the atmosphere when we first arrived was very hectic. Like they were not prepared for the amount of traffic they got on a Saturday night.

Had an absolutely superb lunch there. Waiter was very friendly and spoke English well enough to communicate with us. The menu is extensive. Lots of fish offered. Plus waiter told us about the special Marguerita days. We ate so much we couldn't eat supper that night. Highly recommended. Plus they helped my son up the ramp which is steep. He is in wheelchair, spinal injury Vet. We'll be back.

When I first ate here i stamped this as my favorite Mexican restaurant, but something has changed I don’t like it like I use to. The cheese dip is watery and doesn’t taste the same. Rude customer service as well

I would like to to be able to go to eat just tacos without any sides forcefully added. But otherwise good food.
