I've always enjoyed this McDonald's. The staff are kind and working hard. It is the first fast food place to get packed after 10pm in this area and they've always gotten orders correct for us.
I use to go here a lot. Food is usually ok. They meas up the order more than is acceptable and don't even think of eating here after 10PM or during rush hour, it'll take you 30+ minutes to get through the drive-thru. Go to a different McDonald's 10-20 minutes away to get your food and be home much faster!
Sat in drive through for over 5 minutes, while 3 other orders were taken in the other drive through lane. Employee kept telling us “ will be with you in a moment” while they took orders for the other lane. When something was said, employee gave attitude. I have been going to the McDonalds off an on for years, I’d didn’t think the service could get any worse. I wish I had an option of no stars. Poor service, orders consistently wrong. Sad.
The quality of the night shift service at the Tates Creek Center location has DROPPED OFF. Haven't had my orders be correct in months, the staff all look and act miserable, and sitting at a speaker saying "hello?" after 5 minutes of nothing, while the other lane is just rolling out orders is really frustrating. Who owns this franchise location?
Doesn't deserve a star!!!! Worst McDonald's to go to in Lexington. All the staff are rude and even worse at night. Drive thru line are horrible and you will wait at the speaker for 30 minutes or more before anyone acknowledge you're there
It has its days. Usually it's fine with friendly staff but then some days you'll have rude employees. Case and point, I lost my wallet in there one day and another customer handed it in and they just said "Sucks to be them I guess." It doesn't help that the place gets super busy and backed up at night too
Grandson always want McDonald's. Had to deal with a very rude worker at the drive-thru being a smart alec. Backed put and left. Went to a other McDonald's and had a longer line with another rude worker. I can't understand why my grandson wants this inferior choice of food, but he does.
This McDonald's lobby was supposed to be open until 11:00 p.m. according to the sign on the door. I was doing doordash and they locked the door in my face in the lobby at 8:02 p.m. . Then I had to sit in the Drive-Thru for 45 minutes to get cold french fries and it cost me a lot of money and time. That's it
All these other recent reviews below regarding the speed of this restaurant are 100% accurate. They have no clue how to manage a drive thru. If you are unlucky enough to pull into the wrong drive thru lane (by wrong I mean the one that they happen to barely pay attention to that night) you'll see 3 or 4 other cars cruise past you in the other drive thru lane inexplicably before they even come to the speaker to take your order. Half the time the order is wrong. And even on their best night, expect to spend 25 to 35 minutes waiting.
As someone who has a toddler, I use the curbside service a lot to avoid a long line or going inside! Each time I come to this location, Gary, always takes great care of us! He’s always pleasant and checks our order before we leave as well as thanking us! I don’t have an option for a survey on my mobile orders so I wanted him to get recognized! This is at the location on Tates Creek Centre! Go Gary!
