Great Irish bar. Both locals and travelers alike are welcome for a cold drink.
The temple bar of Prague - great for a laugh, a cry and a heart to heart, especially with the endearing bar staff (Roc in particular XD)
Fun place, with a friendly atmosphere.
Great service and atmosphere! It's perfectly located next to the Marriott hotel as well.
Should remove the Irish out of the name. Not sure what they claim makes them Irish, aside from their name. No Irish beer at the time, clientele obviously was not familiar with Irish music like the dubliners, Pogues, Flogging Molley, wait staff Definitely not Irish. Loud pop and rap music, definitely not what l know of "Irish" pubs.
Lot of local flavor. Definitely not a chili's vibe so if you are ok with that a great place to get a beer
Great bartender! I wish they served food.
We were here last week with almost no one else in the bar. Maybe 5 other people. Bartender was on his phone with his back to us and proceeded to turn around, never look up from his phone and stand right in front of us oblivious to the fact that two customers had sat down at his bar
I really enjoyed my visit to this little gem of a bar. It was a little dated and could use a refresh, but the bartender was warm and welcoming. The drinks were solid and reasonably priced. Had great conversation with a few of the regular patrons. Try a hot Irish whiskey, it's Ireland's answer to a hot toddy. So good. Next time I venture to Lexington, I will definitely plan a stop at McCarthy's.
If you want better atmosphere or a better pint of Guinness, you'll have to go to Ireland.
