The food was great and the environment was really nice for a celebratory meal, which was our reason for coming. I've been here numerous times and the service is usually great, but that was definitely not true this time. The person assisting the server was really helpful, but we barely saw our server, and when we did, he was very distant and never followed through on things that we requested. When he brought the check, he said that the computer would default to adding a 20% tip (which I don't think is true), but it is appreciated to tip more than that, which I thought was rude and off-putting, especially since his service was so poor.

Our waiter was terrible. Secondary service person was great. He did all the work. Our waiter failed to put in our appetizer. We had to ask him 3 times for napkins 4 times for silverware for the other two people at our table. Table was only set for 4. We needed 6. My husband never got his drink, manager finally got that for him and got our appetizer at the end of our meal. We were charged full price for it. Not sure we will want to go back to this Malones. It was my husbands birthday so we were really disappointed. Food was great as usual. No problems with the food.
Malones has been a go to destination when our family and friends wants to celebrate an occasion or milestone over a meal, I'm yet to be even remotely unsatisfied, the food, the service, drinks, everything about the dining experience has always been exceptional.

We had the restaurant week meal. Everything was really good, the only reason I didnât give the food 5 stars is that my steak was overdone.
Our waiter watched us the whole time just staring at us eating. Next time Iâd like a different area if all the waiters standing around looking at you eat. I did not enjoy that.
