Car broke down outside this restaurant, the management noticed I was having a hard time and when I came in to eat they gave me a free meal and hoped my day got better.Honest-spirited staff here that really care. Will be returning. Thank you Lee's!
Update. It's still 5 stars! The atmosphere is so inviting. Tiffany is the best hostess ever! Her manners are polite. She tends to her guests and addresses them all by their title and names. Staff in the back of the house and drive thru are friendly too. The dinning area is clean and spotless.. I highly recommend this location on Richmond road in Lexington KY.
The food is always good but something is always missing and the drink wasn't right. This is our only location and they close early so.....I wish they'd pay more attention to the details of my order. I don't get to stop by much but when I do, I just want what I ordered to be correct. If you go check your order before you leave the drive through!
Stopped today (3/10) for a meal. Hoped it had shaped up since returning... but definitely didn't. Chicken is overdone and doesn't taste right. Wedges were soggy and didn't taste right either. The worst part? There was a Critchfield truck unloading supplies to the restaurant! I'm better off not knowing what the hell they're doing to the food they're serving, but this isn't nearly as good as it once was.
I ate there today and everything was fresh normally I get the gizzards and they be salty or been out to long but this Lee’s on Richmond Road they First shift be doing they thing! Keep up the Good work!
Waited 10 minutes to get my food. Get to the window and ask the girl did the meal come with biscuits? She looked at me like duh, yeah it does. I get to my destination 10 minutes away and there are no biscuits or silverware and the only thing hot was the chicken cause it was spicy. Drive back to sit in drive thru for the next 45 minutes for them to tell me sorry and you only get silverware with your meal if you ask for them. How do they expect people to eat there sides?
I am definitely happy that they are back open. But I think it would be in their best interest to focus on drive-through or lobby only. Every time I have tried to get dinner it takes 30 or more minutes.
Lee’s chicken is TORRIBLE!! I have given it so many tries cause I’m thinking “Hey, they just opened. Give them a few min.” That chicken is garbage. No matter what time of day it is after they open, they chicken is ALWAYS hard and dried out. ALWAYS!! Their food is way too expensive for it to be so bad. Biscuits are worse than Popeyes biscuits. The tea is never good and the sides are worthless. I miss the old Lee’s. The new Lee’s won’t ever get my money again tho.
super slow service, inside is never open, order they always got a technical issue and close early always running out of spicy chicken and rude af
I've been missing the potato wedges from KFC ever since they stopped having them on their menu. So I was very happy when the Lee's reopened & they make them. They are so good; crunchy coating & a smidge spicy. I prefer the thinner wedges but they're all good. I've had the southern fried chicken & it's really good; it is a huge portion with lots of tasty gravy. The chicken fingers are also a solid order, but let's be honest, everything's basically just different forms of the same chicken. The sweet tea is outstanding; no half cuts here! I have noticed that the later at night you go, the tougher the chicken, so don't wait til 8 or later to go
