The food and environment were ok. To be honest, they both left something to be desired. Four stars for each of those.The service we got was great. Even when there was a mistake in the order, there was a fix that was made quickly and professionally. The service deserved 5 stars.
The food was bad. The beans tasted sour. Everything had the slight taste of refrigerator. The chicken was very dry and tasted bad. It was possibly the worst food experience dining out anyone in our party of six has had. The waiter was sarcastic when one person complained. They took that meal off but in reality we should have all just left without eating.
Staff was super friendly. Food was amazing. Hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to. Only a little sad they didn't have horchata.
My husband does not like authentic Mexican food, but I do. So I talked him into going here and we were both really pleased. Beef enchiladas, and chicken enchiladas, both were really good highly recommend.
The food has always been good everytime I've came here but tonight it was horrible. I really don't want to come back... Everything started off OK, my families food was good but mine was horrible. I ordered tacos, fried rice and beans. I started to eat my tacos, they tasted a Little sour like a lime, half way through eating them I asked the server, if they put lime juice and there ground beef and he said vegetables, I told him it was sour tasting but it wasn't straightened out at that point and i dont think he really noticed that i didnt like them. I've had them before and they never tasted that way. The rice was OK so I ate all of it. I took one bite out of my beans and they made me about just throw up, I told the server and he said your almost done, I can probably get it re made, I said no thanks this is nasty, he took my plate and charged me for the dish that I said was nasty because I ate all of my rice and 1 taco.. Like I feel like the kitchen was playing a joke on me but didn't own up to it, I was serious with the server but I don't think actually believed me. Just a very bad experience.
Wow that was some delicious food! I was so worried when we first sat down because the chips and salsa were not the best. The chips were hard and over cooked. It was all uphill from there though. We ordered a bowl of cheese dip and they brought us out some fresh chips with it. It was amazing! Probably the most flavorful cheese dip I have had in town. We all ordered the fajitas, and they too were amazing. This place knows how to season their food. With the exception of the salsa and our initial order of chips everything was perfect. I would highly recommend trying this place out.
Nachos were amazing. Only wish the seats were padded as every chair and booth is just wood.
Going to a game at Rupp and went to Jalapeno's. So glad we did. Street Taco and margaritas were really good.
