Service was very slow but assume they are likely understaffed like everywhere else.
I have always loved Honeywood, but the last two times I have been really disappointed. The menu is very limited lately. My salad was not cold or crisp. It tasted like it had been made earlier than it was ordered. It was also overdressed and heavy for a caesar -- very little kale although kale was listed as a main ingredient. The fried green tomatoes were sliced too thick. I am not going to give up on Ouita's restaurants, because I really respect what she is trying to do, but lately I have not had good luck at this one and a few others.
Excellent food every time. Thatâs why we dine with them every time weâre in Lexington.
A wonderful dinner!! Everything was so fresh and tasty. Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes.
The Beetloaf is the best! In fact the portions and presentations have gotten better since COVID! Love this place!

The food was excellent. I had the seared scallops, which were wonderful, however I did think it was a small portion for $42. Three scallops, $42, you decide. The real show stopper was the filet mignon which is what my partner had. It was perfect in every way!!
They were out of a lot of items. We left before 10 pm and were made to feel that we were disturbing their efforts to clean and mop after spending $200 on dinner.
The food was excellent. We really enjoyed the ambience and the service.
