After years of being my favorite, it saddens me to say the pizza was just ok this time. Ordered the Don. Came out with the dough and crust super flat-not in a good way. Then, barely had any sausage. Two pieces of pizza had no sausage at all. Have gotten very skimpy on the toppings. The Mediterranean salad was great. The staff was wonderful. But, the meal was not worth the $60 we were charged. Probably wont go back. Too many other great restaurants to try.

Fantastic! Love the coal fired pizza. Unique fuel source for cooking the pizza which gives a wonderful flavor. Little pricy but hey, it's good food.

Definitely not as good as it used to be and not on par with other Grimaldi's we have ordered from in the past in other states. There was literally maybe one ounce of sausage on the entire large pizza. Not sure if they were just running low or its an inflation thing and they are now serving much much less toppings on their pizza. Such a disappointment.

We did a take out order of the Don and the Garden Pesto. We placed the order online and it was boxed and ready when we arrived at the designated time. Pizza was delivered somewhat inefficiently- with severe orders being delivered one pizza at a time. Waited about 5 minutes between pizzas. Pizza quality was superb, the little pepperonis were very flavorful and the cheese was delicious. Toppings were plentiful and the crust was crispy and delicious with just the right amount of chew.I could post a picture of our empty box because we dove in and ate it all so fast that I didn’t get a picture! Will order again!

The coal fire does impart a distinctive taste and crust texture. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking to experience the full spectrum of pizza variety in today's market. It may be your favorite.

I felt I was back in New York dining here, despite being in Lexington, Kentucky. Great pizza, just like the original.

Have been here like more that 40 times... The sauce has definitely changed to the more bland side. I thought it was because I got a calzone last time. But the pizza this time is not the same... so at least 45 days or in area. Haven't come for a while before that so maybe before. Not the same. That much I know.

Nice antipasta. Good pizza. True coal fired oven prepared fresh. A bit on the high side for pizza but it's prepared well.

Considering the insane prices of their pizza, it just simply wasn't good. They couldn't even observe a simple request like "light sauce." Both pizzas were absolutely dripping in sauce, the cheese and toppings were skimpy, and the olives were marginal on quality. Then we turned around and paid them over $100 for the "privilege." There are too many decent pizza places in Lexington to ever waste our time or our money at Grimaldi's again.

First time dining in, we usually order carryout. Very laid back atmosphere, polite staff, and great food! Lemon Arugula Salad is great item, and the Margharita Pizza is a new fav. The Red Sangria was great! As always, we will return!
