A large group (17) of us came in for dinner and although the wait for the pizza was long it was worth it. The wait was understandable since it was a big order on a Saturday night. We were able to get tables close together outside and our whole group seemed to enjoy the experience. The breadsticks and the pizza were delicious. Everything was hot and fresh.
My wife and I were visiting Lexington KY for the first time. We wanted to visit some distilleries while we were here. We looked at reviews and went to the distillery District and found James Pepper and Goodfellas pizza.We needed some food to balance out the bourbon samples we were having. The pizza was fabulous. They sell as a whole pie or by the slice. The slices were huge as were the breadsticks with dipping sauce.Wiseguy Lounge was inside Goodfellas. We met two great bartenders in John and Matt. They were pleasant and professional. John gave us samples while describing the different bourbons and distilling process. He was really knowledgeable. The lounge was inside one of the original James Pepper distillery buildings. We walked away knowing lot more than when we walked in!If you’re in the area come to the distillery district there’s a bourbon tasting, food and ice cream. It has a large parking lot because it gets busy. Patios outside for when the weather is nice.
If I could give this place a 0 I would. My friend and i got a slice of cheese pizza from them a week ago while i was in town on a business trip and it was cold. Like straight from the refrigerator cold. We told a guy who worked there I forgot his name and he got an attitude with us and said we were not welcome here anymore and grabbed the pizza from my friends hand. I recorded him saying that. We were kicked out because food was cold. Will never be going back.0.0 that's the review.

Honestly, the pizza, bread sticks, cannolis and foods are amazing here! Wait wasn't bad. The inside is awesome, part of the pepper distillery, you can eat inside the old smoke stack! I'd honestly give it a try, if the wait looks like it might be long, and you aren't patient, go somewhere else. If you're patient - make the stop!

A staple of Lexington! Very cool, aesthetic atmosphere. Pizza is fantastic, especially the dough thickness and cheese quality. Extremely well-priced. Music choice here is also consistently phenomenal. Would highly suggest Goodfellas for any and every occasion: showing your parents around town, taking someone out on a first date, having a girls' or guys' night, you name it.
Best pizza for my liking in the region. I enjoy the feel of the place. Sit outside when weather's nice and able to leash dog in the patio area so she doesn't have to stay in the car.
