I ordered sweet and sour chicken, which was great! But I also ordered cheese wonton and it was awful. I could not finish the one I bit into, regardless that I drowned it in sauce, and had to throw away the rest. Service was fast, you can only fit 1 or 2 people in the entrance to order for COVID safety reasons. I'm only giving 3 stars because of the food quality.
Only 1-2 people are allowed in here at a time. It’s basically an enclosed order window instead of a sit down restaurant. The lady taking orders is very friendly and approachable, and my food came out quickly. The prices are great, and my food was still scorching hot when I got home. I had the sweet and sour chicken combination plate with the egg roll and pork fried rice. The chicken is tender, and the rice is flavorful and loaded with vegetables. The egg roll has just the right amount of crisp, and tastes the way an egg roll should. I will definitely order from here again!
I've been eating here for at least 12 years, if not longer and idk what has happened but they have fell off. The last few times the food wasn't that great. I Thought I'd give them another chance & nope the food was so bad tonight. I took two bites and threw it in the trash. it had an awful rancid taste same goes for my daughters food. Waiting on my son's take on it. But looks like $50 worth of food wasted. I won't be back
I have been to this restaurant a few times and had some good meals the 1st couple of times but recently it hasn't been very good. I think I would rather go to a different Chinese restaurant there were a few others in the area area that aren't too far.
My mom really liked her Orange chicken.Personally i liked the Chicken lo mein but i dont understand. (Why does Chicken lo mein comes with rice?)
Ordered the chef special number 98. Suppose to have water chestnuts in the meal. Plain and simple the whole meal was a disaster. I can say one thing certain I will not order anything from there again.
I normally don’t post reviews but I have to give credit where it’s due. Honestly I want to thank Golden Wok. It is always my go to restaurant. They always have the quickest service and the food is always tasty and filling. With a busy job in healthcare, my day usually starts early and some days I don’t always have the time to bring my lunch from home. Golden wok has been there to save my day and deliver great food quick to me on several occasions. They always give you the best portions, and they have wonderful service. Very hard working and friendly! It upsets me to see even 1 negative review on this place. Honestly people are so rude and just want something to complain about. Thanks again Golden Wok! You guys are the best!!
Best Chinese restaurant on this side if town. Meals are always perfect! Nice size portions! Highly recommend!
I’ve only been here three times and every time I’ve said I would never come back. The previous times were for big to go orders and they were terrible. I thought I would give them a second chance and see if they could at least do eggrolls right. I mean maybe I caught him in a bad time the previous times. This time is absolutely the last time! If you can’t even do eggrolls right you should not be in this business. Worst eggroll I ever ate in my life! I threw the second one away! Nasty… The flavor was terrible… It clearly was not made from scratch… Still had to wait five minutes… It was overcooked. The person that takes the order at the window it’s also rude!I also don’t like the fact that they are shut down to a point where you have to stand in a closet sized place to order through a glass window and a woman with a mask. They are Covid crazy. I will never do business with this place again. Right down the road is an excellent Panda Express. I would rather go hungry than eat here again.
Because of the pandemic this restaurant only serves take out. The food was delicious. I will eat it again if I get the chance to when I come back to the city. I couldn't upload a picture of it.
