Went to this restaurant with my family a few months ago and enjoyed the service, food, and atmosphere. This is the past.Below is now.Went here today with family to relive the good food, service, and atmosphere. I was dead wrong in thinking that lightning would strike twice. They increased the number of tables in the location so the atmosphere is now cramped and you have to endure listening to whoever you are sat next to at full volume. The servers were busy helping their customers but also chatting up with the other servers. I should not have to wait to get your attention for 3 minutes becuase you are really enjoying your conversation.I ordered the Acapulco cheese steak and it was dry and rubbery because it was overcooked. The cheese was very runny and weak in flavor. I do not recommend. My wife order the burrito deluxe. She chose chicken. There was no beans, the chicken was dry from being overcooked. My wife said the sour cream was "off."My child ordered the chicken tenders from the children's menu. She received a gigantic helping of amazing French fries. Her tenders looked good. They unfortunately were overcooked. At no time was a dipping sauce offered.Honestly, I will not come back unless something changes. Maybe remove 2 tables so everyone is not elbow to elbow. Maybe use a thermometer to make sure you do not over cook the food. The burrito deluxe should come with beans for that price. And while those fries are good, portion control on children menu items.Hopefully things will get better.
I have a very picky son and he loved the food! Best Mexican food we’ve ever had! Food was hot and fresh! We will definitely be regulars now!
The was plentiful and delicious,we even had to take our food home! ??
It was very clean with friendly staff but the food wasn't for me. I'm more of a TexMex aficionado preferring something less bland.
To start off, my food was good. I had the Carnitas dinner with a side of guacamole. My food was served warm and fresh and even the beans and rice were excellent. I like the fact that the had an assortment of mixed vegetables in the rice. However, my service was spotty at best. My server rarely checked on me and I had to ask multiple times for drink refills. After I finished my meal, I sat for about a half an hour to finish some work on my tablet, drinking tea and munching on chips while I finished my work. When I asked for one last tea to go, I was told I would have to pay for another tea. This infuriated me! I said in disbelief, “I just spent $30 at this place on my meal and tip and you want to charge me for another tea?” My waitress told me that that was policy and I would have to speak to a manager, to which I responded “I would love to speak to a manager!” A few minutes later I received a tea to go with nothing else said. I was satisfied that I got my tea but I was very unhappy, and felt insulted that I was told I would have to pay for another tea. I have owned a coffee shop and know quite well the expense of making iced tea. We were able to make 3 gallons of tea for 50 cents just a few years ago. I know that food costs have risen significantly lately, but as far as I’m concerned, they have lost a repeat customer in me over 10 cents worth of tea.
Service was good. It was very busy with lots of people when I was there by myself for dinner. I was staying at the hotel nearby and walked over. The food was hot and fresh. The salsa was very mild and came with chips. I had Combo #2 which was a chicken Enchilada, a beef Taco, and a Chalupa. The Combo did not come with beans or rice. The Enchilada was very good, filled with seasoned chicken. The Taco was filled with seasoned beef but no lettuce, tomato, or cheese and was bland. The Chalupa which turned out to be like a tostada, had lettuce, tomato, cheese, and beans with guacamole. The chalupa was bland too.I was very disappointed with my meal except for the chicken Enchilada. The Enchilada was the highlight of the meal. I might be back to try something else, now that I know nothing will be spicy.
We are here now and while the food is really good, the service is just terrible! We have had to ask for chips and salsa-twice, and even though seated at the bar had to ask for a drink !! But the topper is we asked for the TV to be changed to what the main TV is showing- soccer which isn’t great but is better than HSN and watching jewelry be shown! Really? We even started watching a show on Netflix on my phone and the waitress just rolled her eyes when she came by and never offered us a drink! At the bar! we ate here before and the service was typical but tonight it’s so bad- we won’t be back
Jose P was an awesome waiter. Good recommendations. The carne asada was the best I have had in a long time. Also the owner stopped by the table to check on us. Great experience and food!
Seated quickly, service was quick as well. Didn't have to wait long. Food was good, nice selection. Only complaint was that when I ordered a small margarita, I was told I couldn't have one because they were out of the small glasses. I ended up ordering a larger one and not even drinking it all as it was too much. Would have liked if they offered me one in a different glass, but price and amount of a small.
Fast and respectful service. Amazing tasting food and was very quick at getting the food served after ordering. The food was still so hot that it had to sit and cool down for a min before I was able to begin eating. I will definitely be going back for dinner soon.
