Seated immediately. Surprised by the lighter above the chair rail color. Really brightened up the atmosphere. The food is the typical Cracker Barrel fare. While we had a good server, the food was barely warm, not cold, just barely warm. The mashed potatoes were crusty on top, like they had been setting g under a warming light
Staff was amazing. Would definitely recommend.
Not too bad but they were out of a few menu items that we really wanted to try such as the vanilla latte. They also forgot the ice cream that comes with the chocolate cake that I ordered to-go, although it was very good.
I keep eating here trying to relive the crackle barrel of old, but it will never be. That hash brown casserole is enough for a tease now and it used to be enough to feel my heart clog a little.I’m also consistently disappointed at this one. It was fun to pull in and see the discount parking sale (sidewalk sale) at the hustler next door. But my biggest complaint… one cup of coffee, it sat empty shortly after the food came, but I wasn’t checked on till it was obvious we were done and waiting on a check. Also… the thing that upset me the most…. They forgot my dang biscuits. They brought my gravy, but not the biscuits…. Who does this?So I still ate my burnt sausage, my dry scrambled eggs (how long can you leave scrambled eggs in the frying pan before they are something else?), and my biscuits…. Oh wait I didn’t. Fried apples were good though. That sunrise sampler just isn’t what it used to be.The one on Newtown pike or Brannon rd seems to get it right more often than this one
One of the best cracker Barrel we have been too.. our server Heather was amazing. Paid attention to what we ordered, checked back with us without being a bother. Our food was brought out HOT and not just warm as usual. I ordered a strawberry mimosa that was surprisingly very delicious. Excellent Job Hearther.
Stopped in for some breakfast this morning. I had the Grandma’s Pancake Breakfast, my wife had the Country Boy Breakfast, and my son had the kids Grilled Chicken Tenders with a Baked Potato ($1.99 up charge). The service was great and the food was pretty good. The only issue that we had was my sons potato was not fully cooked, but they brought us another one and removed it from the bill. We will definitely be back soon.
I ordered takeout. They told me fifteen minutes but it was more like 45. My chicken and hash brown casserole were barely warm but the fried apples were hot. The casserole and chicken were pretty bland. I asked for honey and apple butter but didn't get anything to put on the biscuits. The biscuits were hard. Pretty disappointing for a restaurant that I usually have good experiences at.
Scrambled eggs raw in middle. Cold pancakes. Asked 2 times for extra syrup and never received. Sausage burned, ham so tough could not eat and had to ask twice for silverware. Really BAD service.
I was seated immediately, ordered quickly, and the server was courteous and helpful. She came by and checked on me frequently. My food was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think the server was Ashley. Great job.
I have never had a bad meal at a Cracker Barrel, and this location was no exception. Would definitely return if in the area.
