Always a variety of home cooked flavor. Nice gift shops. Pretty sure the steamed carrots had added sugar. We ate supper there, that's not a listed meal on your options.
I love CB but this particular day the coffee was barely tepid. There may have been changes in the way they prepare food but I and my son had to salt and pepper our food, we never had to do this before. We got the Chocolate Coca Cola cake for dessert and it was dry and crumbly around the edges almost an inch into the cake. I probably won't visit this particular location anytime soon.
It was 52 minutes from the time we ordered our food to get the food. The waitress who is new but was helping other tables did not refill our drinks. We were getting ready to leave when they had our food coming out and then it was wrong. The manager, Andrew, came out and did apologize but had more excuses than anything. He did take $8.00 off of our meal. Needless to say we won't be back. The hostess, Sandy, who is new was very helpful. She did more to help us than anyone else.
Just left after sitting at our table for 20 minutes. Waitress finally came and waited on the people behind us that had just sat down. Poor service. Will not visit this store again. If it was busy, I could absolutely understand. The waitress was rude and stated, "I'll wait on you in a few minutes if you will just wait."
Always seem to hit this place for breakfast while traveling. They're usually very busy but I've never had to wait too long to get seated. Country style breakfasts that are both hearty and an exceptional value.
My husband and I typically love this crackle barrel, we have been coming for years but the last 2 times we went were miserable. Last month our server didn’t realize she was our server and we had to ask management for a server after waiting 30. min. Granted our food came out fairly fast after that.Today we got seated fairly quickly, got our drinks right out. Other people who were seated 15-20 min after us got their food first. We waited a total of 55 min and then asked for it to go since we had to go. Our waitress only stopped by once after taking our order to refill coffee, no biscuits or anything. Another couple just left after seeing others get their food ahead of them.So bottom line: don’t expect your food for about an hour. Good luck ??
We waited over half an hour to be seated and we were 1st in line. I explained to the hostess that my son in law was handicapped and couldn't stand for long periods of time. She called back to the kitchen and the manager told her not to seat anyone because they were backed up with to go orders. Very few tables were in use but the line was very long. Service once seated was good though.
Easily the worst Experience at a Cracker Barrel we've had.Server acted confused and distracted. She only had 2 tables and acted like she was overwhelmed. The fried shrimp was overcooked. My plate was nothing but burnt food. The grilled fish was ok but a small portion and oddly cold.I hope the next place we go to will be better as we love cracker barrels while traveling.
Dishwasher was out, so everything was served on disposable eatery. Paper plates, styrofoam cups, plastic fork/spoon. I ordered pancakes with the blackberry fruit topping, I've had it at several locations (side note it's delicious and a must try in my opinion) however they didn't tell me they didn't have that when I ordered it. Instead they brought out BLUEBERRY jam with the food and said that was all they had. If I had known they did not have it, I simply would have ordered something else. All around not a great experience, and you're better off trying another location.
Meh it's cracker barrel honestly. I have never been impressed with them. The food we ordered the first night in town several items missing from entrees ordered as well as half the items were unreasonably cold. It was a take out but I was only at hotel nextdoor. Food quality is typical similar to what you get at like golden corral. Next day we tried breakfast and I wish I would have saved the money and gotten McDonald's. Folder arches at least offer fresh hot food and good coffee. I think at this point my family has written off the ol crapper barrel.
