Chuy's really wasn't my first thought when deciding on a Mexican style restaurant. However, with this in the back of my mind as I took that first bite; my expectations were shattered. This places chicken is authentic to the American Mexican cuisine and I enjoyed every bite of the large platter served.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Lex. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always satisfied.Servers and hosts are also great and most of them are efficient, happy and polite besides a select few. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat.

I love eating here, so I may be biased. I always have friendly servers when I dine in, and my food is always correct if I get it to go. To go is slower (usually) and I wait a little longer than I'd like but the food is consistently good. I like the salsa and the free creamy jalapeño sauce, I pour them on everything. They are busy on weekends and nights but off times the food comes out super quick and fresh.

To-go workers do not check the bags thoroughly, they did not put my tortillas in the bag or any dressing that was ordered for the salad. We also found SEVERAL hairs in our food. But they did remember 5 sets of utensils for 2 meals. The food us usually delicious otherwise ?

Server recommended fajita chicken with hatch sauce instead of the roasted chicken. What a great recommendation. It was so good, and had a much mellower flavor.

Awesome food,waitress, atmosphere. Give it a #10

Love this restaurant, food is great ..mixed drinks aren't great unless you like the syrup taste.. the fajita for 1 is enough for 2. The guacamole dip and their sauce is really good! Now I'm hungry ?

Standard Mexican restaurant but I've had better. Waitress was really nice and did her best to find something for my dad whom is allergic to soy. Which, if you didn't know, is used in almost every Mexican dish.

We met some friends here for dinner as we were traveling thru the area on our way to Myrtle Beach. It was a little out of the way, but our friends ranted and raved about this restaurant all the time and we felt that it was time for us to see (taste) for ourselves. We started with chips, salsa and queso.....it was all great. For my entree I ordered the Tacos Al Carbon (I think it is actually on the menu as a pair, but I wanted just one and they gladly accommodated me). It came with rice and beans and was very good (and plentiful even if it was just one). There were no complaints from anyone at our table. Service was spot on too! If this restaurant were in our area we would be frequent customers.

Really good food in our opinion!!
