They have messed up every order we ever made. We never complained until the last one, when they sent part of the order. The first time I called they said the delivery driver left a bag there. I called the delivery service. They said they would send a driver back and the Campestre would remake our order. We received it about 1 1/2 hours later. Most of it was cold and the sorry excuse for a taco salad had barely anything on it. I took one bite of the microwaved mess and threw the rest away. I called Campestre again and they told me they would refund our order. They didn't. I disputed the charge with my bank and Campestre put the charge back on my account! We will never spend our money there again. How shady of you, Campestre!
Great family dinner! Pleasant and clean atmosphere; welcoming staff; prompt and attentive service. Our 10 year old grandson enjoyed it as well.
Great food and even better drinks. However, for the price, the amount of cheese dip and guac is a bit steep. Often, things will be left off of to-go orders. I hope they will increase their serving sizes or come down on their prices. It’s a great place. Just wish a few things could be improved.
First time there. Was staying in Lexington for the night. Wife found this place and it was really good. They had some cool skull glasses. We both had margaritas. They both were really good. Next time in Lexington we'll be back.
Great experience, we went shortly before they closed an worried about a bad experience but our server Annabelle was great! The food was good, flavorful. Rice was seasoned. Loved the white crème salsa! Relaxed atmosphere. Fast service and we weren’t rushed at all. My only complaint is that I wish They could sub the meats for us non-pork eaters.
i don’t like to leave poor reviews but i just need to warn vegetarians not to eat here. i have been vegetarian for over 8 years and it is very important to me. i ordered a salad off of the VEGETARIAN menu and the person taking the order asked what meat i wanted and i said NO MEAT please. when i started eating, i noticed a huge piece of nasty sausage in my salad. looked like a hot dog lol. we spoke to the manager and he did not take me seriously AT ALL. he laughed it off and said “yes well sometimes people get this salad with chicken.” ....... 1. it was a hot dog not chicken 2. it’s on the VEGETARIAN menu???turns out they put SAUSAGE IN THEIR BLACK BEANS, which are usually reliable for vegetarians. we luv beans. so seriously, be extra careful eating here as a vegetarian/vegan/etc. they gave me a free quesadilla, which i did appreciate, but i felt very disrespected and pretty devastated.
We ended up here by accident, and it was a happy accident indeed. The staff was extremely friendly and competent, and the menu was extensive. I had some picky eaters with our group of 5, and everyone found something they liked. The restaurant was generous with chips and two different salsas. We had a great time, and the food was so filling that we didn't have room for dessert. That made us a little bit sad because the desserts all looked pretty amazing.
Steak was burnt and inedible. Older man serving us was not friendly to me. He never refilled my drink or asked how my food was. Try Agave and Rye, it’s fantastic.
The food was just okay. The fajita chicken was very dry because they cut it before cooking it, and it lacks the char flavor fajitas should have. The veggies in the fajitas were wildly unevenly cut making some of them mush and some barely cooked, and everything was swimming in some weird sauce that wasn't appealing. The beans taste like they just took canned pinto beans and put them in a blender, no seasoning at all and had that canned bean funk to them.My husband had the Big Burrito. It was impressive when they delivered it to the table, but once he cut into it not so much so. It was about 75% lettuce and very little meat.The food relies on an over abundance of sauces for flavor, which just doesn't work. A definite lack of seasoning all around. If the meat isn't good, the food isn't good. Definitely not worth the money.All in all we were not impressed and we won't be back.
We eat here at least every 2 weeks. The food is delicious, the service is attractive and quick. The margarita selection is varied and also delicious
