I wish the owners will read some reviews and improve because food itself was surprisingly good. The restaurant itself was dirty, to the point that we almost left. The floors had carpet all over and it was very noticeably dirty. Who puts carpet on a restaurant floor! My husband went to the restroom to wash his hands and told me not to go because l would have left right away. We kept saying to ourselves, are we leaving?, but we had already been seated and felt bad doing so. We were also starving and had to go back to work, so we risked it. Still, l felt like the cleanliness must be an issue everywhere if they thought it was okay to open their doors in that condition. Silverware was to be picked up from a common bowl. Having silverware wrapped up in individual napkins is not hard to do and it is standard, even at "hole in the wall" kinda places. We saw Indian people eating there, which made us think it would be good and authentic, but based on cleanliness l wouldn't risk it again. It looked like they use this place for events too based on the weird set up.
Had a wonderful dinner with my spouse. The portions were huge. Everything tasted very fresh and had just the right spice level. This place is a hidden gem!
We came for the lunch buffet, at 1:30 it was sparse. The serving temp wasn't what it should be either, food was luke warm. They brought water to the table with no ice and didn't offer soda. The owner (I assume) was nice and did bring a couple of fresh items to the table prior to putting them on the buffet. Nothing we had compared to other Indian food we've had. Will not return.
We had ordered take out last night. Chicken 65 was stale and frozen. The veg pakora was half cooked. You could still taste the batter. Goat biryani was too oily and had lamb bits instead of goat pieces. Never again! Poor taste and unreasonably priced.
The food is incredible!! Flavorful, savory, and addicting! We love the very spicy gravy! Buffet is amazing! Small but very hospitable and friendly!
Excellent food - authentic, nice spice, very fresh. The masala chai is absolutely wonderful and totally authentic. Very impressed with the food here - lots of soul & love in this establishment.
This is best restaurant in lexington… Everything food is fresh and flavorful..The service was good and clean restaurant…. i highly recommended this restaurant… If you like same indian flavors so you can definitely go there….??
My family and I love this place Bombay Palace - Vijay prepares a delicious variety of food. There are many options on the menu. Our go to Indian restaurant. Thanks to the Bombay Palace team for their great hospitality.
Fantastic lunch buffet and great service. $11.99 per person. Definitely check this place out!
Good food. The naan's dimension and thickness keep changing every time I order. Don't know why. Please don't make them like those found with Arabic foods. It's completely unworthy.
