We really miss having a Bob Evans in our town. So, we decided to treat ourselves.It was certainly worth the drive (about a half hour), and we will make a date to go again soon. Please start visiting your local restaurants again. They need you, and your local economy needs your patronage. Your favorite places will begin disappearing if we don't get back out there, and that's a real shame. : /
Service at the Richmond Rd location has really gone downhill. It takes FOREVER to get your food served. It comes luke warm as though it has been sitting for awhile. Waitresses never come to check if you want a drink refill and you cannot get their attention to bring the check. A couple of months ago they left me sitting for 35 minutes and never even came around to take my order. Even people around me noticed that I had been abandoned. I got up and walked out. I did not go back for a couple of months. It seems at though nothing has changed. Very poor service, they do not seem to care if waitresses are rude or inefficient but nothing will be done. Good-bye forever Bob Evans!!
Ordered catering through this Bob Evans. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!! The manager, Jenny, was so helpful, and the food was delicious! The restaurant was so clean, and the food choices were impressive. Restaurants are struggling everywhere to get enough help, but Jenny made sure our experience was the best it could possibly be. I grew up working in my parents' restaurant, so I know how hard it can be to work in and manage a restaurant, but Jenny and her crew did a truly great job. All those who ate the food commented on how good it was. It was also a great deal! We will be eating here a lot, especially on Tuesdays, when kids eat free.
The food came out luke warm, but was good. The service was slow, but there were only two waitresses & no hostess (management's failure). The two waitresses had to work the entire location, seat customers, & cash out customers. Neither ever complained & did all they could to keep up with all of the duties. I compliment them, but management should have came in to assist!
Food was delicious and our server was very friendly. She had a sense of humor and was cheery for 8 a.m.
after waiting an hour and a half finally got brunch. would've been netter if we didn't. our eggs weren't even cooked. the outside looked they they were done but so wet and runny and raw. .y belly hurts after eating there.
We had takeout a month ago. Enjoyed experience. This week dined in, carefully due to Covid-19 and had a nice meal with my wife. Felt secure. Had a nice (but overworked server - felt sorry she had all duties, order, serve and busboy. She did a phenomenal job, but easy to see ? was tired out.) still she was gracious and did a Gr8 job, in spire of it. She deserves a medal for her hard work.
The food never disappoints. Even though it wasn't crazy busy like usual, our food took a little longer than normal but nothing to get bent out of shape over. The manager was extremely helpful and offered an apology and a discount. We understand it's still a weird time right now for the service industry so we roll with the punches. Everything was still delicious and worth the little extra wait time.
Went to Lex KY location around 9:20am on a Monday. They were not very busy. We ordered and waited. Server never checked back for more coffee. Another couple was seated behind us and they waited for about 10 mins before same server came out and saw them. She took their drink order. They wanted to go ahead and order but she stated she needed to go get her pad. She went in the back and then we over heard an argument. We had been waiting for about 30 mins at this point with no food and no refills. Our waitress never returned to us or the couple behind us. They got up and left. No one came out to check on her station. We figured our food was probably ready and just sitting back there getting cold so we decided to leave also. We drove to Lex specifically to eat at Bob Evans and ended up a Cracker Barrel.
It was the first and WILL be the last time I ever set foot in that Bob Evans. We was seated and order was taken. 2 other tables was seated after us. After 25 minutes of our order being taken, we get our food. The 2 other tables that was seated after us had gotten their food and was done when we got ours. Was not checked on or offered any apologies for our food being late. Server checked on us with our check when we was done. Needless to say, horrible place to have breakfast.
