This place has a nice ambiance and the food is pretty good for a hotel, but the service is unreliable. The menu in the room and on the TV doesn’t match. I tried giving them a pass because of Covid, but even still. The first visit was ok (there were like 5 people total) but on the second visit we spent 1 hour to only get one drink and the staff NEVER came back to check on us. We were planning on ordering additional items including food, but ended up walking over to LexLive for a to go order. The two staff members walked by us a dozen times and it wasn’t even very busy. I’ve never experienced service so terrible, even during all the troubles the pandemic has presented.

Server was rude. Food was alright. Not staffed properly especially for the events going on the entire weekend. Or servers would be no where to be found. Would say open til a certain time but really wasn't!

Food was good but took way too long!

This place was a joke in itself. Waited for over an hour for our food and was no longer warm, soda was watered down by the time It got to us and they said they ran out of fries. Avoid this place.

I work there but it's a wonderful ambiance and great service and great food

I have stayed at Hyatt Regency hotels throughout the country and was rather disappointed at the Blue Fire Bar & Grill. The breakfast I had was really not worth it and I decided to get a muffin and that was even worse. The muffin tasted stale and tasted as if it was 10 days old. One of the front desk person recommended I go to Hilton next door and I did the next day and their breakfast at the Hilton was far much better with fresh muffins, delicious omelets and much more! If you are staying at this Hyatt, I suggest you walk over to the Hilton Lexington Downtown and its next door and try their breakfast for the same cost. The General manager and restaurant manager hopefully can look into this and try to improve things.

As far as hotel bars and restaurants go, this was quite good. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit it were I not a hotel guest, but I had absolutely no complaints for the meals and drinks I had while I was there. Tried several of their burgers/sandwiches and they were always very well prepared. Decent beer selection but they have a fairly high turnover of bourbons - the menus go out of date fast.

Food is average at best. However those that tend the bar and their other servers are very good at taking care of large crowds before during and after events.

no place to sit, had to stand, self serve at bar, cocktail good

There are not many choices for plant based eaters in Lexington, KY - however - this location does serve a great Plant Based burger. They are friendly and the service was great.
