This place is beyond unreal. As a person who refuses to frequent "BBQ" places outside of central Tejas, I must say that Blue Door is the real deal. I have been here dozens of times, and it is consistently outstanding. The staff and owners are delightful people. If you're going on a game day, get there early!Try the following items...1. The brisket sandwich. Get it fatty or wet cut. Get it with coleslaw. Do NOT use any sauce. It doesn't need sauce since it's real brisket BBQ.2. Any meat platter. Brisket and ribs are a good combination. Use the bread and pickles.
Fabulous pulled pork and vinegar slaw. Potato salad was pretty good too. Very friendly service. Highly recommend as a hole in the wall experience.

Unbelievably amazing BBQ. We got the Blue door special which had all the meats on it. Service was also on point and they took this time to make sure you were taken care of.
We attended a graduation party that served pulled pork and brisket from Blue Door Smokehouse. The meat was excellent and the sauce choices were great.
We ate here for the first time recently. The staff was super friendly and the BBQ was delicious. Their spicy sauce was awesome as well. This is a tiny BBQ place with limited seating and lines out the door. We saw multiple to go orders being processed while we were there. They do have a limited menu. Unfortunately, none of their side items appealed to me but that is just personal preference. Would still highly recommend.
We went here because of the great reviews but it didn't quite live up to the hype. We are spoiled on Kansas City BBQ. When we walked in the staff was amazing. They were friendly, helpful, great overall. My family ordered a variety. The meats were all good. We tried pulled chicken, brisket and pulled pork. The sides however were very mediocre. I got the potato salad and coleslaw, which unfortunately were very average. We did enjoy our meal though.
We recently hired Blue Door to cater my fathers celebration of life service. They provided BBQ and sides for 150 guests and it was amazing. John and his team are just the best. Easy to work with, 1/2 the price of the first caterer we contacted and their BBQ is outstanding. I can’t recommend them enough if you need a great caterer. Well done Blue Door!
Their BBQ is good but not the best I have had. The guys that run it are friendly, the restaurant is take out only, but they’re nice and will bring it to your car once they make it. We tried their BBQ pork sandwich, the brisket and some sides. They shake seasoned salt on a lot of the stuff. It just kind of ruins it IMO. The pulled pork is good but lacks flavor depth (even with the seasoned salt). I was not a fan of their buns they use. The brisket was very, very good. Potato salad was great. They do not serve Mac and cheese which is a bummer if you’re going with young children. Other reviewers obviously love it, my opinion just might be my Southern pulled pork profile, so try it for yourself.
