I ordered $80.00 of food. I only received part of my order from door dash. I called the restaurant and they had given our food away! When I asked them if we could get it re-made again they said we would have to pay for it. Completely ridiculous. Worst customer service. I will not be back to the Chinoe location.
Really good pizza.. The deep dish is is own, not so much Chicago. But it's AMAZING.
Close pizza shop with good sauce and crust. Good to order, run to Kroger, then take a pizza home.
Very pleased with the pizza we have gotten here every single time. The employees have always been very nice when we have interacted with them too. The garlic knots are delicious!
Ordered the Bronx Pizza with extra cheese from Big City and this pizza was fan-FREAKING-tastic! I haven't had a pizza that good in years! Don't let the prices scare you off because it was absolutely worth every penny. I'd take a picture of it and show everyone how scrumptious the pizza looked...if there was any left ;) Very satisfied customer! Thanks again to everyone at Big City Pizza!
My wife and I tried Big City Pizza for the first time tonight and while the food was good, the wait time was horrendous! Yes, it was a Friday at 6:00pm, but we were the only ones in the restaurant when we placed our order. We ordered garlic knots and a medium hand-tossed pizza. So we paid and got a table number, fixed our drinks and sat ourselves. And we waited for our food. And we waited. And waited some more. After 30 minutes and not even our garlic knots were brought out, I went up to the counter. After a few more minutes waiting to speak with someone I finally spoke with a cashier and she couldn’t even find our order in their line of tickets. So she simply said it would be a few more minutes and if our food wasn’t out in 10 minutes to check back again. I waited 25 more minutes and went back up to the counter and heard one of the cooks talking about the pizza we ordered - they were literally just making the pizza, an HOUR AFTER WE ORDERED IT! Ten minutes later our garlic knots were brought to our table. Honestly, they were quite good. Another five minutes and our pizza finally arrived - it was piping hot and when it cooled down a little, we were able to taste it. While the pie was decent, I didn’t think it was any better than a DiGiorno frozen heat and eat from the grocery store. I’d give it a 6 on a scale of 1-10.My recommendation - order for pick up or delivery WELL AHEAD of when you would like to eat. Pizza was only okay but certainly not worth the wait.
I had pizza from this location three times. First time was great, the next two time very mediocre experiences. Not because the pizza was bad, it’s because they took liberties with my orders.For example, just because I get a thin crust pizza, it doesn’t mean I want my breadsticks thin crust or making my pizza half cheese and half topping.I probably won’t order pizza here again as I shouldn’t have a 33% chance to get my order.
So glad we tried Big City Pizza passing through town. The favors of the Calzone & Pizza were amazing! The dough is so light & airy. Food even delivered to us by owner. Humble gentleman that was appreciative for the business. Need to try!!!! Won’t be disappointed ?
This was our first time ordering and it was fantastic!! Their sauce is really flavorful and that can make or break pizza for me. Everything about it was delicious!
We are serious pizza eaters, and were excited to try this place after reading the reviews, but were fairly underwhelmed. The pizzas are gorgeous, but just meh on taste. They do have a nice crust, but the cheese is oddly rubbery when it's not piping hot. Like, you can just keep chewing it forever, like gum. The service can't really be commented on, because they only take your order at the register and bring your pizza. You have to get your paper plates, plastic ware, drinks, and to-go box, so no real personal service to speak of.On a brighter note, it's a new, clean, and modern restaurant with an open feel. I doubt we make the 30 minute trip to eat there again, but as you can see, they have a lot of people who love it. I'm sure it's just personal preference. Give them a try ?
