I love, this place. The food, is amazing. The service is always excellent. Chris 2 remember us, from a previous visit. I was very impressed. I don't get out much. But this is my go out spot. The restaurant is spotless indoors and outdoors. We like outdoors. I would recommend this place in the top spots to go to in Lexington, Ky. We come up from Georgetown Ky.
Nice atmosphere, hotel bar so prices are a little more than other places.Had a gin and tonic and it was really good, did not eat foodLiked all the windows
Good food and drinks! Friendly and courteous staff!
Fav place for UK home games....?
Nice spot to enjoy a drink or two and relax after a long day of sightseeing.
Let me count the negatives: a) service was both surly and almost non-existent. Host pretended we weren’t standing there for about 5 mins and then we’re told yo find our own table. Had to wipe down the table ourselves and get our own menus. Had to search out our check to end the meal because she forgot us. b) prices: ridiculous. $21 for the chicken dish which is a tiny leg and thigh. $14 for an older fashioned made with cheap bourbon they don’t name. c) food: all was fine which is why they get two stars. But its really a low scale hotel nacho/ burger bar that is pretending to be a classy Lexington bourbon bar - but it ain’t even close.
I expected a martini menu as has been presented in the past. Disappointed.
Pretty bad experience here tonight. Tried ordering two different meals. Neither worked. First one, a salad, they told me they didn’t have ingredients for after they’d already brought out two other meals to the table. Switched to a burger and asked for some pita bread for the hummus we had. 30 min later, family done with meal, no burger, no pita bread. So two meals ordered, zero meals delivered. Pretty ridiculous
Wonderful staff and attention to needs!
After a long day of driving, this was our first stop after checking in. We were tired and did not want to walk to other restaurants, so we came here. Fortunately, we were one of three tables, so service was fast. The drinks were well made. The nacho appetizer was far better than expected. Tender chicken, fresh and crisp chips and great toppings, including the cheeses. Often times nachos in bars can be greasy and lack flavor. Not these, they were definitely elevated. The caesar salad was good, but the shrimp were amazing. Light and fluffy, similar to those you get off the boat in South Carolina. Often time bar shrimp can be rubbery and tasteless, but not these. The souther fried chicken salad would have been best with just the salad. The chicken was dry and flavorless. Overall, there were still enough things done right, that I would give it a 4.5 if possible, but I cannot give it a 5.
