Great atmosphere, great service by Taylor! Definitely recommend
I will start off by saying The Love Shack was delicious. It was filled with juicy pork, covered in corn, the bbq bourbon bacon on top was yummy and then there was a nice bit of heat that kinda crept in. Loved it.Now the reason for four stars was I went with coworkers and we ordered chips and salsa. The chips were kinda hard to eat. Really super thick and hard to dip in the salsa and even scoop. I gave up on the salsa. Another coworker also got the burger and fries (yes realize this is a taco place but is on the menu) and the burger looked ok but the fries looked drenched in oil to the point they were limp. All in all...stick to the tacos. I recommend The Love Shack.
Best tacos ever, especially The Sugar Daddy of the PJ & The Filthy Fajita!
great food and great service. we will be back.
The tacos were indeed very epic! Four of us went there for lunch and everyone was talking about how good the tacos were for the rest of the trip. The ambiance was very artsy and something we didn't expect before we walked in. We would recommend this to anyone coming to Lexington!
10/10 recommend this place. The tacos were killer and so was the service. I had a cocktail as well and it was to die for. Our server Mackenzie was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and gave us great suggestions. She was very nice and made our experience truly memorable. She is a gem and an asset to this restaurant! Best taco I’ve ever eaten hands down.
Listen, forget what your basic white friends say about Americanized Mexican food, Agave and Rye is the most authentic American twisted “wth is this” Mexican food. They have a freaking taco with a kangeroo in it! Americanized Taco Bell don’t got that. Their food is absolutely wonderful and have yet had anything that had ingredients that were supposed to be in there. What the heck is cowboy candy? Now if you’re truly basic and for whatever reason not blessed with decent taste then maybe stick with Chuy’s restaurant. We know you like the jalapeño dip and margaritas……anything else on that menu? No? Didn’t think so.
Extremely nice, hip, cool decor, fine food options such as duck, and kangaroo. Taco and some chinese foods served ingenuously on tacos. Multiple vegan options. They claim epic, I claim pretty... Pretty and full tacos... The bama jama and the Yoda do stand out among the tacos, especially Yoda. .. it doesn't taste like the others. Most of others are pretty, but they just taste very similar,. Not matter the meat or options chosen. The Cha Cha enchiladas , with duck, was good, small, but filling. Our waitress outside outperformed the pretty guy inside. He would walk past our green card. Had to be flagged down, multiple times, once while he walked past us n stood in line right behind us ( we were in back) . But outside is right on the street. No buffer zone, windy, loud. Cool place, but won't go back. Their margaritas are strong, but not a good drink.. Ill proportioned, so strong it's hard to drink. It will buzz ya, but yuck. Couldn't finish them.. had only ordered one, but he brought second and, while I was deciding to keep, he says, our bad, it's on house.. I'm like great! Nope, they charged us for it, was missing rim sugar.. ok.. pigs everywhere with confusing messages, waiters told us each person needed two tacos.. right!! No one person ate two! Needless to say, $100 for two margaritas, two teas, 3 small enchiladas, and 4 tacos, with one order of fries included. Appetizer was chips n cheese. For flat tasting food, or, just, all the same flavor, we won't be doing it again. It's pretty, hip n cool.. but no. No thanks.
Food is excellent and Taco Tuesday is a great time. Victoria is a wonderful server. Will definitely be back.
Great service and great food! So many options!
